Yesterday, the word got out that the Netflix adaptation of Joe Hill and Stephen King’s novella In the Tall Grass will arrive on October 4th, 2019.
Splice and Hannibal director Vincenzo Natali has directed this adaptation, which stars The Conjuring and Insidious’ Patrick Wilson. Along with Wilson, Laysla De Oliveira, and Harrison Gilbertson star. The film will be produced by Splice’s Steve Hoban, Jimmy Miller at Mosaic, and M. Riley.
In the story synopsis, as adapted by Natali: “After hearing a young boy’s cry for help, a sister and brother venture into a vast field of grass in Kansas but soon discover that there may be no way out.”
We’ll probably hear a bit more on In The Tall Grass before it springs up on October 4th, so stay tuned.
