Netmarble Corp has announced a release date for the cinematic adventure mobile RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, which will launch on March 3, 2020 for iOS and Android devices. The game was developed by Netmarble in partnership with Kodansha Ltd, the publisher of Nakaba Suzuki’s manga “七つの大罪” | “Nanatsu no Taizai”.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is already live in Japan, where it launched last year and has been incredibly successful on the Japanese App Store and Google Play. Pre-registration for the world-wide version of the game began on January 15 for both iOS and Android, and it has already been pre-registered by more than 1 million players. Pre-registration rewards include access to the in-game character Melodias, the main hero of The Seven Deadly Sins, and his costume. Other rewards include game currencies and an exclusive in-game loot box with various goodies.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross will bring players the full story experience of the anime and manga with high-resolution 3D graphics and over 100 dramatic cutscenes. The original Japanese anime voice cast reprised their roles for the mobile game, so players can get the full Seven Deadly Sins experience. That said, the game builds on the anime and manga with special costumes, new character dialogue, an affection system, and even cooking.

The mobile RPG includes a card mechanic that players can use to upgrade their characters and defeat enemies. Players can combine cards and characters for special moves. Which should help differentiate Grand Cross from the other Seven Deadly Sins game, Knights of Britannia.

Pre-registration for Grand Cross is still open, so you can still take advantage of all the in-game rewards once the game launches on March 3.
