OnePlus Announce Crackables 2.0 To Launch April 14, With $10,000 Grand Prize

OnePlus is bringing it back it’s Crackables puzzle game from 2018, with a slightly smaller prize pool, but with funds going to support Covid-19 Relief charities. A collaboration between OnePlus and Google, Crackables 2.0 is offering mobile puzzle solvers a chance to win $10,000 with another $10,000 going to charity. The registration is now open with the event starting at Noon (ET) on April 14th.

Crackables 2.0 is slated to run for around two weeks, starting April 14th, and ending on the 30th of April 2020. As it was back in 2018, Crackables will offer players a series of puzzles, ramping up in difficulty as players advance through the levels. Some stages will also require collaboration to be finished, so players will need to team up to take on some of the challenges on offer. The final tournament will be streamed live online around the world on May 7th, 2020.

“OnePlus is committed to creating the best mobile experiences for our community and beyond,” said Kyle Kiang, Chief Marketing Officer, OnePlus.  “After watching over half a million community members globally come together to play in the original Crackables, we’re excited to launch the next level version of this mentally stimulated challenge to entertain gamers and puzzle enthusiasts everywhere.”

Crackables, when it was first launched back in 2018 was very popular, with 10,000 players joining in the first second of the game being up, and 580,000 in total over the games run. Crackables 2.0 is said to combine the experience and innovation of the UNIT9 production house, with Jakub Jakubowski leading the team, the elite game writing development firm Sleep Deprivation Lab, and will be powered by Google technology.

While it does offer less money up-front this time around, it is poised to be a great addition for people that are stuck at home. Combine that with a large charitable donation, and this could be just the game to help relieve some of that lock-in boredom. If you are interested in joining in the fun, head over to https://craxisback.oneplus.com/ and preregister and give Crackables 2.0 a try.
