The often rumoured new headphones are finally made official at Unpacked, giving the world a real look at the new bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live.

As more phones move to eliminate the 3.5-mm headphone jack, the move to high-end Bluetooth for consumers is only a matter of time. The new Galaxy Buds Live is a step to offer amazing sound, in a stylish tiny package. Offering 6-hours of playtime with an additional 29 hours of charge time with the included, a low-profile design, and active noise-cancellation, the Galaxy Buds Live look to be the most impressive Bluetooth offering to date.

The Buds Live will feature a 23mm speaker with AKG sound technology, air cents and interchangeable wingtips. Samsung claims the new case gives the Galaxy Buds Live a jewellery box like aesthetic, further placing these new buds as a high-end product in the Buds range.

Not a true in-ear design, it is unclear how the Galaxy Buds Live will sound in comparison to the competition, including Apples Airpods Pro or offerings from the like of OnePlus, Boss, and Sennheiser.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live are slated to release online on August 7th in ‘Mystic White,’ ‘Mystic Bronze’ and ‘Mystic Black’ for $249 CAD, with them launching in-store on August 21st.
