Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) is heading to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 11th.

In addition to the next-gen November release, Rockstar has announced that the release of a standalone version of its beloved multiplayer mode, GTA Online. Unlike the GTA 5 release, GTA Online will be launching exclusively on PlayStation Plus for three months. The exclusive window will end in February 2022. In anticipation, Rockstar is including special benefits for players in anticipation of the upcoming next-gen versions of GTA 5.

“PlayStation Plus members on PlayStation 4, make sure to claim your GTA$1,000,000 by visiting the PlayStation Store at the start of each month—every month until the launch of GTA Online on PlayStation 5,” Rockstar reveals.

“The new generation versions of GTA 5 will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever,” Rockstar said.

That’s not all for GTA news, as RockStar has teased that even more fun surprises are on their way for GTA III‘s 20th anniversary. Some of those surprises will be made specifically for GTA Online, but there is no word so far on either a remaster or remake of GTA III at this time. Fans can still hold out hope though, as more announcements are on their way.

GTA 5 was released back in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and it would later come to PS4 and Xbox One in 2014 and PC in 2015. Rockstar games has sold more than 140 million copies of the game since it first released almost eight years ago. Now with the release of Grand Theft Auto V on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, next-gen players can continue to enjoy a fan favourite on their console of choice. Grab GTA 5—again—on November 11th.
