Nimbus+ Comes with up to Four Months of Apple Arcade.

Every new purchase of the Nimbus+ wireless gamepad controller will come with up to four months of Apple Arcade for free, SteelSeries has announced.

The controller brings a console-quality experience to Apple-Arcade’s catalogue of ad-frees games on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple TV. The Nimbus+ supports more than 100 games out of Apple Acrade’s growing 180 premium game collection. Supported titles that offer include NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition, Fantasian, World of Demons, Star Trek: Legends, Sonic Racing, The Pathless and more.

The Nimbus+ builds off the design of the original controller, it helps mobile gamers bring their level of play to the next level with an ergonomic design, ultra-responsive triggers/buttons and a range of Apple connectivity options. The Nimbus+ also features clickable joysticks, Hall effect triggers, and a 50-hour battery. Every purchase of a Nimbus+ also comes with an iPhone mount that attaches to the controller and allows users to mount their iPhone to it and play games comfortably from the controller itself.

“The Nimbus+ Apple Arcade bundle represents an incredible customer experience and arrives at the perfect time with the rollout of 5G happening around the world,” SteelSeries President of Worldwide Mobile, Craig Olson said.

The original Nimbus controller wasn’t the first time SteelSeries has collaborated with Apple. Both companies have a long history of innovation and collaboration including the release of Apple’s first Apple MFi-approved wireless gamepad controller, the Stratus in 2014. When the original Nimbus controller was released in 2015, it launched alongside the Apple TV HD as the first Apple-authorized gamepad controller. It featured superb analog sticks, a new Bluetooth gaming module, and touch-sensitive D-pads, face buttons and triggers.

The Nimbus+ is currently available and will cost mobile gamers $69.99 USD, new owners who order starting today will receive up to four months of Apple Arcade for free.
