Capcom Confirms E3 2021 Showcase Details

Capcom has officially confirmed the time when its E3 2021 showcase is happening on Monday, June 14th.

Announced on Capcom USA’s Twitter, which revealed that its E3 2021 presentation will start at 5:30 PM ET. That’s not all, the showcase is confirmed to feature Capcom Titles like Resident Evil Village, Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Stories 2 and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. It’s very likely, the showcase won’t be limited to just those titles with expected brand new announcements to be revealed during the showcase.

Unlike other E3 showcases, those announcements can be a little easier to speculate as a list of upcoming Capcom game releases were leaked in a massive data breach at the publishers. Some of those games set for 2022 include Dragon’s Dogma 2, Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake, although there is a chance these games could be out of date. It remains to be seen if the other games in that list are still in development or will let alone show up at E3. If things haven’t changed and if the list is to be believed, the list mirrors Capcom’s release schedule for 2021 to 2024, which you can see below.

  • Resident Evil Outrage – Q4 FY21
  • Dragon’s Dogma 2 – Q2 FY22
  • Street Fighter 6 – Q3 FY22
  • Rockman Match – Q3 FY22
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake – Q4 FY22
  • Monster Hunter 6 – Q2 FY23
  • Biohazard Apocalypse – Q3 FY23
  • SSF6 – Q4 FY23
  • Final Fight Remake – Q2 FY24
  • Power Stone Remake – Q3 FY24
  • Ultra SF6 – Q4 FY24
  • Resident Evil Hank – Q4 FY24

Leaks aside, it has been a pretty profitable year for Capcom with the Monster Hunter Rise breaking the company’s previous record profits days before its fiscal year ended. With the recent release of Resident Evil Village that trends could continue for the fifth year in a row for the publisher. Capcom isn’t putting all their money on the recently released Resident Evil game as its upcoming July games include two games we’re gonna get a good look at during the showcase, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
