Samsung Announces New Stylish Wearables & Headphones at Unpacked Event

Samsung Makes Galaxy Range Exciting

... 63

Samsung did not stop at the new Galaxy Z Flip3 and Fold3, with new Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds announced for release this year.

Starting things off, Samsung lifted the curtain on the new Watch4 and Watch4 Classic, two new wearables that now feature WearOS 3. These watches carry over many of the features we know and love from the Galaxy Watch lineup, including the dial face on the Watch4 Classic, and the styling that makes the range so exciting

Powered by an Exynos W920 processor, featuring 1.5GB RAM with 16GB internal storage, and featuring a 361mAh Battery on the large model, and 247mAh on the smaller size, the Watch4 and Watch4 Classic look to be a great addition to the Android wearable space. Boasting an Aluminum case on the Watch4 and a Stainless Steel case on the Watch4 Classic, these are some of the nicest Android wearables I have used in recent years.

This year the Watch4 range also includes all the sensors that the past models limited for Canada, including Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Light Sensor, Samsung BioActive Sensor (Optical Heart Rate Sensor(PPG) + Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis Sensor(BIA)). This makes the Watch4 a much more useful option for people wanting a smartwatch for health and fitness, and is generally one of the more well stocked devices you can buy.

The line comes in a series of colours, Black, Silver Green (44 mm only), and Pink Gold (40 mm only for the Galaxy Watch4, with the Watch4 Classic offering Black and Silver as colour choices). The Watch4 will launch at a starting $329.99 price point in Canada, with the Watch4 Classic starting at $459.99 and will be available starting August 27, 2021.

Also announced were the new Galaxy Buds2, the new and improved option for people that love wireless audio. Featuring some of the same features we saw on the Buds Pro, the Buds2 are a colourful and less expensive option that bring good sound, and most of the features we demand to everyone for $189.99 in Canada.
