Gamers Heart Japan raising money for earthquake relief

The most recognizable names in the industry have joined forces to show their support for the island nation.

Greedy Productions recently gathered a bevy of game journalists and developers to create Gamers Heart Japan, and while the special aired last night, it’s not too late to get involved with the charity. The video is embedded below, and donations are still being accepted at the Gamers Heart Japan website.

The tribute debuted on the G4 network and looked at Japan and its impact on the games industry. The hour-long program featured the likes of Victor Lucas (Electric Playground), Peter Molyneux (Lionhead Studios) and Adam Sessler (X-Play), and many other gaming celebs appeared to discuss their favorite games and memories from Japan. It’s a great way to drum up support for the country in the wake of the devastating 9.0 earthquake, so go ahead and watch the video and feel free to make a donation.
