Valve’s Chet Faliszek has kind things to say about the solo campaign in Portal 2.

We already think that Portal 2 is going to be a good game, but Valve’s own Chet Faliszek takes things one step further and says that Portal 2 has the best single player campaign ever to come out of Valve.

“In terms of single player experience, it’s absolutely the best,” said Faliszek in a recent interview. “The single player is so dense in Portal 2. It’s the best.”

That’s pretty high praise coming from the studio responsible for Half-Life, and Faliszek is just as excited for the game’s separate co-op campaign. He stops short of calling it “the best,” but he does make some favorable comparisons.

“In terms of co-op, I’m going to say it’s a tie with the Left 4 Dead series,” he explained. “Left 4 Dead is near to my heart.”

Faliszek did admit that Valve has plans for Portal 2 DLC, but the studio isn’t ready to disclose the details As it stands, we’ll have to wait until April 19th to find out if Portal 2 is worthy of that praise.
