Seven marines are currently facing disciplinary action following the news of their work with EA on their latest Medal of Honor title, Warfare. 


The seven marines who are undergoing proper disciplinary procedure right now were just some of the two dozen active and retired Navy SEALS, military personnel, and other special operative forces who agreed to help out EA. One of the marines was Matt Bissonnette, one of the memebers of the Navy SEAL 6 team which killed Osama Bin Laden. 

According to an article posted on Games Radar, although regular civilians do not have to worry about what they can and cannot say, military personnel must secure clearence from the Department of Defense before they agree to do interviews. In this specifc case, the same rules apply and the individuals part of EA’s project were supposed to have gotten clearence before they began working with EA.

CNET reported the seven members who were reprimended, who also happened to be members of Navy SEAL 6, the elite of the Navy, received their punishment on Thursday. All seven men were given a letter of reprimand, as well as being docked half their pay for two months. 

Currently, four more individuals are under investigation for being in talks with EA.
