Videogames website Computer and Videogames (CVG) announced today the PlayStation 4 will make its appearance at the GameStop Expo happening on Aug. 28 in Las Vegas.
According to CVG, attendees will get the chance at the Expo to experience forthcoming PlayStation 4 games. They also say prominent developers would also attend the US retailer event. Last week, CVG reported that PlayStation 4 lead architect Mark Cerny promised the launch for the next-gen console would be the strongest of any Sony console.
Since yesterday, the countdown to the Xbox next-gen reveal began; more so, Microsoft and Xbox-related news have dominated the online gaming realm. The PlayStation 4 unveiling occurred this February at an event in New York. If the PlayStation 4 would be playable for GameStop attendees, then most likely the next-gen console would be playable at E3 this year.
The PlayStation 4 is slated for release this holiday season.
The GameStop Expo happens at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Tickets start at $45, with an early bird price of $35 (available Aug. 11). VIP passes will also be available.
