The Amazon Echo Spot is now officially available in Canada.
Amazon’s artificial intelligence software Alexa launched in Canada in late 2017 and now Canadians can utilise the groundbreaking AI assistant with the Amazon Echo Spot which is now available for pre-order in Canada.
The Amazon Echo Spot is a sleek and stylish device in a small form factor that takes full advantage of Amazon Alexa. Users can ask Alexa to check the weather, look up facts, organize their calendars, video chat and shop through the massive catalogue of products available on the Amazon website, just by using their voice.
The Amazon Echo Spot is designed to be fully integrated into the modern home. Features like the included screen make it easy and convenient for the user to quickly watch the news with the device’s flash video briefing option, which fills the screen with clips from popular news channels such as CTV or Global.
The Echo Spot ships with a new microphone array system which gives it a higher level of fidelity, being able to pick up the nuances and inflections of the user with greater accuracy than ever before.
The Amazon Echo Spot is available for pre-order and is priced at $169.99 CAD with shipping expected to begin on April 25, 2018.
