The new series of laptops are specifically designed for creative types, going toe-to-toe against Apple’s latest MacBook Pro refresh, which recently saw release. Nvidia has managed to acquire an impressive, seventeen different vendors that have partnered up with the said company, in bringing the new line of laptops to market. Some vendors include Dell, ASUS, Acer, Razer and HP.

The new line of laptops will feature up to the Quadro RTX 5000 line of GPUs, while also offering variants that feature the GeForce RTX 2080 line of graphics cards, with the promise of the new line performing 7x better than the latest MacBook Pro laptops. The chassis for the new series will employ Nvidia’s Max-Q technology, allowing for optimal thermals and cooling, while still maintaining a relatively slim form-factor.

Fans of Quake will also be eligible in downloading a free copy of Quake II, dubbed Quake II RTX, which as the name implies, will be the world’s first fully ray-traced game, transforming the classic title for a modern audience. Quake II RTX will be available as a free download on GeForce.com on June 6.
