Ryan Su: Ideas Made Real

Learn Unity in 8 Weeks starting this Monday! Don’t wait to bring your ideas to life. Make Ryan’s story yours in our project-based course.

“One of the reasons I wanted to take the class was because I had an idea for a game, and through this class I was able to bring my idea into reality.” Hero Soul is an impressive 2D ARPG which includes procedurally generated dungeons, deck-building, and the traditional RPG elements of fighting, training, and looting. “Before I started this course, I knew absolutely nothing about Unity and my only experience developing games had been through modding and using specialized game makers such as RPG Maker. So, I decided that it was high time I learned Unity. After taking the class, I found that I could make games at an intermediate level, but more importantly the class gave me the tools to continue to learn Unity and the people and community I met through the class were priceless.” Check out a full video walkthrough of the prototype here and play it in-person at our Winter Play: NYC Game Expo next week.
