Microsoft’s E3 Conference Recap

Fact or Fiction: E3 2014 Rumours 2

Today is the start to all of the E3 press conferences and as always Microsoft was first. Here’s a recap of everything they announced.

-The second season of Killer Instinct will start later this fall and the first new character of it will be TJ Combo.

-The popular XBLA game Happy Wars is coming to Xbox One and will have cross platform play.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare had a live demo which included lasers, car doors were used as shields, and bug things attacked everyone.

Forza Motorsport 5 will be getting a new track called Nurburgring later today.

Forza Horizon 2 was also announced, despite a listing that was leaked last week. It will be out on September 30th.

-The 4v1 monster multiplayer game Evolve will be getting an exclusive beta on Xbox One.

Assassin’s Creed Unity got its first live gameplay demo. It takes place during the French Revolution and will feature four player co-op story multiplayer.

Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s Xbox One version will get new content first.

-A new Sunset Overdrive trailer was shown that made fun of all the “gritty” and “realistic” war games. It was then demoed live by Insomniac Games’ Ted Price. it will release on October 28th.

Dead Rising 3 is getting a new DLC pack today that features all the main protagonists from every Dead Rising Game. It also features tons of costumes, weapons, and more from other Capcom games. It also has lots of multiplayer modes added into it for up to four people to play.

-Harmonix announces Dance Central returning with Dance Central: Spotlight as a downloadable  title. Also showed another Disney Fantasia trailer.

Fable Legends will have four player multiplayer and will allow players to be the villain. The villain will lay traps and send hordes of enemies at the other players. It will release this holiday season.

Project Spark was shown off. It allows players to create their own games and share them as well as play them with friends. It will also have Conker available to use in the game.

-An indie game known as Ori and The Blind Forest was shown off in a trailer.

-A new Halo 5: Guardians trailer was shown. It will have Master Chief go on a journey of self-discovery, as well as another Spartan.

Halo: Master Chief Collection will release on November 11th on Xbox One. Will have Halo 1-5 and all the multiplayer from every Halo game. It will also have a fully remastered Halo 2 single player and multiplayer as Halo 2 Anniversary. Customers who buy it will gain access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta this holiday season.

-ID@XBOX is a system that helps indie games be developed for Xbox One. A trailer for Limbo developer PlayDead’s new game Inside was shown, as well as glimpses at other indie titles such as Cuphead, Aztez, White Night, Grave, Below, Hellraid, and Lifeless Planet.

-The world premiere trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider was shown. It is a sequel to the Tomb Raider reboot from last year. Lara is apparently in therapy after the events of the last game and will be fighting bears at some point.

-A live demo of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was played. The demo was about 10 hours into the game and took the player on a quest to hunt a griffon. Missions and side-missions can intercept with other quests and points of interest.

-A short trailer was shown for the reboot of Phantom Dust.

-Another live gameplay demo of The Division was shown, and still has a 2015 release window.

-Platinum Games announced and showed a trailer an Xbox One exclusive called Scalebound. it looks as silly and as awesome as all other Platinum Games titles.

-The final announcement was for a reboot of the Crackdown series known only as Crackdown.
