Warhammer Fantasy is a low fantasy fictional universe created by Games Workshop and is found in many of the developer’s games. It was originally created in 1983 and has seen many sequels and spinoffs such as the Warhammer 40K series

The Total War series are strategy games that combine turn-based strategy and resource management with real-time tactical controls. The series began on PC in 2000 with Shogun: Total War. The game was well received and spawned a number of other titles using different nations such as Rome or America. In 2016, Creative Assembly released Total War: Warhammer, blending the Total War series gameplay with the lore of the Warhammer franchise, marking it as the first Total War game to take place in a fantasy setting. The game was well received by both fans and critics, selling over half a million copies within a few days of release.

Total War: Warhammer II will be available sometime in 2017, exclusively on PC.
