That’s where the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra comes in. It’s a very powerful phone that can handle anything thrown at it. On top of that, it is also very stylish with colours like Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, and Black, among a Silver and Pink Gold variety only found online.

If the ultra is more than your mom needs, the Google Pixel 10a is a great choice for someone who doesn’t need all the gizmos. The Pixel 10a is chock-full of features that anyone would find handy. For the 10a, AI is built into every aspect, and the device takes advantage of that fact with implementations like being able to take two group photos with the camera person taking the photo in one, and being in the other while someone else takes the picture. You can then use the 10a to stitch the two photos together so that no one is ever left out of the picture—especially your mom. That is one among many, many other features.

Apple MacBook Neo

In a world where a good laptop usually empties your wallet of about $1000, it’s always nice to have a budget option available. Even though the Apple MacBook Neo looks like another multi-thousand-dollar purchase from Apple, it’s actually priced at a reasonable MSRP of $599. That price point makes the MacBook Neo a steal in terms of Apple products, which is important because it is chock-full of Apple tech.
Starting off with a 2408-by-1506-pixel Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of peak brightness, which, according to Apple, can support a billion colours. But due to the Neo being a budget device, it has to give up some features like True Tone, which takes away the adjustment of the screen’s colour temperature, and it also has larger bezels than the mainline MacBook’s. But have no fear, in Joe Findlay’s review of the MacBook Neo, he said, “Despite what it is missing, it still offers a quality picture. You would be hard-pressed to find a prettier display in this price range.”
The Neo also sports an A18 Pro chip, which, for those informed, is the same chip used on the iPhone 16 series. Why is it a mobile chip instead of the Apple standard M Series? Because the Neo was made for lower costs while maintaining a strong everyday performance, perfect for mom.
Xiaomi Pad 8

Some mom’s may love their phones, but it’s a for sure fact that many more love seeing things on a way bigger screen than a regular phone can provide. That is where the Xiaomi Pad 8 comes in. The Pad 8 is an all-around good tablet to have, mostly because of its chip, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which is powerful enough to make any action taken on the Pad 8 completely buttery smooth.
Getting down to the specs, the Pad 8 comes with a 9200 mAh battery, which should be enough to get through multiple hours straight of use. That battery powers the 11.04-inch screen brought over from the Pad 7, which offers a 144Hz refresh and a 3.2K resolution with adaptive HDR that pushes the maximum brightness up to 800 nits.

Capping off our Mother’s Day list is the 2026 ASUS Zenbook S14, which is a very premium product priced at an MSRP of $2399. Although the price tag is heavy, the perks of having this laptop may just be enough to make your mom happier than she already is. It is a very sleek piece of tech made of CNC-machined Ceraluminum that comes in Antrim Grey and Scandinavian White. What is most impressive is that the Zenbook S14 comes in at only 1.1 cm thick and weighs a paltry 1.2 kg.
Getting into the specs, all of the Zenbook S14 models come with a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen powered by a 77Wh battery that can keep the laptop running for up to 27 hours. This also powers the Panther Lake–based Intel Core Ultra processor, the highlight of the laptop according to Erik McDowell’s review.
In fact, the 16-core 2.1 GHz Intel Core Ultra 9 386H sits at the heart of the Zenbook S14, which is neighbouring an Intel Arc graphics and an NPU getting up to 50 TOPS. On top of that, the Zenbook S14 also has 32GB of soldered LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. All of that lingo basically means that you will never have to worry about lag or anything of the like.

On the Road is made for portable play as well, so if you are on a road trip with mom or just lounging about, there will always be a CATAN game to be played.
To play, you must be the first person to reach seven victory points located around the board. You can achieve this mainly by trading, which is a little different in On the Road, because if you trade while it is not your turn, you will be rewarded with an extra resource card. Using trades, you can negotiate for cards that you need to expand your region, recruit knights, and upgrade your settlements, all to achieve as many victory points as possible.

With all of these products basically necessitating a table to use, why not go the extra mile and get Mom a desk? Specifically, the Blacklyte Atlas Lite Standing Desk. We all know that standing desks are supposed to be better for working, but the Atlas Lite goes the extra mile. Starting off is the most important variable, building it, which is supremely simple, thanks to a step-by-step video or a sheet of instructions included in the box.
When it is assembled, however, it provides a massive amount of space to work with, the large size providing a sizable space of 63×31.5 inches. That means that it is perfect for playing games like CATAN – On the Road and any other tabletop game of the like, or your mom can just use it for work if that’s what she wants to use it for. While we’re on the topic of desks, there is also the conversation about the chair that goes with it. When you buy a desk chair, you really have to pick wisely, which is why the Iskur V2 NewGen is such a great choice. Made by the gaming company Razer, it is a very quality chair made out of a breathable knit fabric called woven performance textile, which completely stops the dreaded feeling of peeling off of faux leather chairs in the summer.
In Brendan Frye’s review of the Iskur V2 NewGen, he said that “The fabric breathes well, stays cool during long sessions and has a softer hand-feel, which makes the overall sitting experience more pleasant. It also does a good job resisting dust and pet hair, a small win that adds up over time.” The highlight of the chair is the adaptive lumbar support system, a dial on the side that lets you adjust the chair to the natural curve of your back. Rounding up to be a very useful chair for long sitting sessions.
