Expanding the Google Home product lineup, Google has announced the latest Gemini-powered Google Home Speaker, launching on June 25, 2026.
Following the announcement of the Google Home Speaker and the list of Gemini-powered products in October 2025, Google has announced the specifications and release date of the latest Google Home Speaker. Launching on June 25, 2026, the speaker features omnidirectional sound with a 58mm full-range driver, Gemini for Home voice assistant, Gemini Live for Google Home Premium subscribers, and much more.
Designed to deliver high-quality audio, the Google Home Speaker is powered by the Quad Core A55 2.0 GHz with NPU, featuring a 58mm full-range driver to provide a 360-degree audio experience. Compared to the Nest Mini, the upcoming speaker features a 2x larger driver and 2.5 times stronger bass. Additionally, the speaker offers various pairing capabilities, as it allows users to connect two Google Home Speakers with a Google TV Streamer for a home theatre experience with spatial audio, and the ability to connect the speaker with their Nest speakers, Nest display, and Google Cast-enabled devices to listen to music throughout their house.
As a smart speaker, the Google Home Speaker is equipped with Gemini for Home, designed to be more natural and conversational, adapting to the user’s speaking tone while providing understanding and reasoning, as users can ask Gemini for assistance, set and edit reminders, stream media, and control their compatible smart home devices with ease. Taking Gemini to the next level, the Google Home Premium subscription allows users to use Gemini Live to enter a free-flowing conversation state, ask Gemini about current or recent moments captured on their Nest cams, and ask for summaries about what happened around their house while away.
Importantly, as users utilize Gemini, the Google Home Speaker features a light ring at its base to indicate when it’s listening, thinking, or responding, and users can mute the microphone for privacy.

The Google Home Speaker is available for pre-order on the Google Store for $99.99 USD / $139.99 CAD. Launching on June 25, 2026, at retailers and the Google Store, the speaker will be available in Porcelain, Hazel, and the Google Store exclusive, Jade and Berry colours.
