Modern Warfare Trilogy Bundle Coming to Last-Gen Consoles

Modern Warfare Trilogy Bundle Coming to Last-Gen Consoles 1

Call of Duty is probably the most controversial gaming franchise in the world right now. The franchise’s upcoming offering, Infinite Warfare, boasts the most disliked trailer of all time, and it seems Activision has made yet another misstep with fans.

After releasing an announcement trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, players started to express their extreme dissatisfaction with the direction the series is taking, disliking the video almost two million times. A lot of the hate seems to be directed at the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remaster, which is exclusively available through purchasing the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare.

The players wanted a separate remaster of Modern Warfare to enjoy on the latest generation of consoles, but it seems Activision didn’t listen, yet again. As revealed through a Best Buy listing, a trilogy bundle including all three Modern Warfare games is on the way, but exclusively for last-generation consoles. The bundle also does not feature remastered graphics.

Of course, this is another misstep for the franchise, which has upset the community again. According to the listing, the bundle includes Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and its first DLC pack, and Modern Warfare 3. The bundle is set to release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next Tuesday, May 17.
