Realme previously announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, revealing a new smartphone – the Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, and today it’s revealed to be very limited.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Realme, announced a collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products last week in order to bring a Harry Potter themed version of their 16 Pro 5G mobile phone to audiences, and today, they’ve given fans a peek behind the curtain. As part of this collaboration, the manufacturer has included some special design features that have been inspired by the Harry Potter franchise in its phone. It will also sport an exclusive co-branded logo that will come as a result of the collaboration between Warner Bros. and Realme.

Previously, a collaboration between the two companies had launched a special edition touting Game of Thrones regalia for the previously released 15 Pro 5G model, and that success has poured over into this new collaboration. Revealed today, the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition includes a Hogwarts-themed limited-edition gifting box for fans of the Harry Potter IP, and it will be available worldwide in just 5,000 units.
The Hogwarts-inspired school-style box is designed as a 1:1 replica of Harry Potter’s school trunk, and hearkens back to the train scene in the first film from 2001. Inside the box lies a specially designed Hogwarts Welcome Pack, a set of customized merchandise that includes: a Hogwarts acceptance letter and a train ticket, allowing consumers to roleplay as a student on the train to and from the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Xu Qi (Chase Xu), Vice President and CMO of Realme, said, “This collaboration marks a significant step in our journey to make technology more joyful and meaningful. Working with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products on a product inspired by Harry Potter allows us to create experiences that empower young people to discover their own magic,” adding, “We are thrilled to invite fans worldwide to embrace the magic of Hogwarts and make their dreams real.”
Interestingly enough, it appears the new release is just a flavour statement instead of a refresh. The Harry Potter-inspired device wears identical specifications from the flagship realme 16 Pro smartphone that released in January 2026. The smartphone still pedals an impressive mid-range specification list, prioritizing what realme says is a far beyond “all-day” battery life and an above average camera fleet with its Main Camera sporting a 200MP LumaColor sensor, and an Ultra-Wide Camera with an 8MP sensor.
Fans interested in this limited, fan-centred smartphone offering (and it’s very limited add-on gift) should tune in to realme’s website for more information, and on September 21, thats when all will be revealed.
