NVIDIA RTX Spark Laptops Expand With New AI Models, Creator Tools and Games

The NVIDIA RTX Spark lineup is now available, and NVIDIA is expanding what these slim Windows machines can do with a new wave of AI models, creator tools and game support for the platform.

CGMagazine covered RTX Spark when it first launched, noting how the platform combines NVIDIA’s Blackwell RTX graphics with native CUDA support and up to 128 GB of unified memory in thin-and-light laptops from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI, starting at $2,599 USD. Additional Microsoft Surface configurations are expected to ship in November. It marks an exciting step forward for Windows on Arm gaming and content creation, and NVIDIA seems keen to continue expanding the platform’s capabilities.

“RTX Spark brings the power of NVIDIA AI, RTX graphics and CUDA together with Microsoft Windows in one PC for creating, gaming and running personal AI agents,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, when the laptops launched earlier this month.

For people who are excited about running local models on the RTX Spark, Liquid’s compact LFM3 family of open-weight models for text, vision and audio is coming to the platform, giving developers a starting point for specialized assistants that work with text, images and voice. NVIDIA’s own Nemotron 3.5 Transcribe launches Oct. 28, turning recorded conversations into transcripts, translations and answers across 40 languages, complete with speaker identification and audio question-and-answer capabilities.

Creators looking to expand what they can do with RTX Spark will also have access to FLUX 3 Image Klein, allowing them to generate and edit images locally. Developers can customize the model for specific workflows using an NVIDIA NeMo AutoModel fine-tuning recipe. More creator news is expected at Adobe MAX, running Nov. 10 to 12 in Miami. Attendees will be able to create a custom character on an RTX Spark laptop and bring it to life with an AI agent using ComfyUI, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.

For gamers, Phantom Blade Zero launches Oct. 28 with ray tracing and DLSS 4.5 support, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. The technology can boost frame rates with up to 6x frame generation or automatically adjust the multiplier to reach a target frame rate. Modders have not been left out, either. RTX Remix version 1.6 arrived last week with DLSS 5, featuring 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, native RTX Spark support and agent-assisted workflows. The update also brings the path-traced modding platform to Minecraft for the first time.
