CES 2025 is over, and with it came new and exciting technology at every turn, and we are here to put CGMagazine’s Best of CES 2025 on full display. In one hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center you could find the latest in auto tech, over at the Venetian you could find start up companies from all over the world and more. Wherever you looked, you were likely to find some sort of tech that you find useful, innovative or just plain cool.
CGM spent the week in Las Vegas scouring the show halls and meeting rooms for some of the most exciting devices and software we could find. Much like our Best of CES 2024, there were some amazing PCs, laptops and gear that we couldn’t stop talking about. Big hitters like ASUS wowed us like always, but we also honed in on some things we have never seen before, landing them on our Best of CES 2025 list.
Here’s CGMagazine’s Best of CES 2025
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 Laptop

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 Laptop is not a brand-new device, as we have seen it in year’s past. However, the 2025 Zephyrus G14 is both thinner and lighter than the 2024 model. Year after year, ASUS ROG innovates its designs to keep up with trends and current consumer needs, and at CES 2025 thin and cool laptops are what people are talking about.
CES 2025 is the first time that we will see OLED technology in the Zephyrus laptop line as well with a 3K OLED panel, that has a VESA HDR True Black 500 rating, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and supports G-SYNC. The Zephyrus G14 has a redesigned keyboard venting system, and Arc Flow fans to keep things cool. It is an outstanding laptop for gamers and creators, landing it on our Best of CES 2025.
TGIF X Creative T0 Arena Desktop Theatre System

Gaming chair company TGIF has partnered with Creative Labs to bring surround sound to your gaming station. The T0 Arena Desktop Theatre System brings together a compact soundbar with left, centre and right channel speakers, a powerful subwoofer, as well as a pair of wireless surround speakers built into TGIF’s award-winning ergonomic gaming chair to bring sound to every corner of your et up.
Their big flex is building rear speakers directly into TGIF’s gaming chair, and wirelessly connecting them to the rest of system. These wireless speakers use an ultra-low latency wireless audio link and claim to have 48 hours of playtime battery life, or around one week on standby. The TGIF X Creative T0 Arena Desktop Theatre System might just solve a long-standing audio issue in gaming setups, and honestly, it looks like something from a sci-fi show, and we just loved it, which is why we have put it on our Best of CES 2025 list.
Atari Gamestation Go

Chances are, if you’re in your mid-30s, 40s and even older, you long for retro-gaming. It has taken off again in recent years, and who better to bring it to our fingertips than the original game makers, Atari? Atari is bringing more than 200 officially licensed games to the new Atari Gamestation Go, a portable retro gaming handheld. This device will pack Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, and Arcade platforms, plus some bonus games into your bag so you can retro-game on the go.
A fun added bonus is the Gamestation Go’s Smart Glow feature, which will illuminate the controls on the device that are available for each specific game. Bringing decades worth of Atari games to one device is enough to rave about, but we also love the retro style that encloses all those games, how could we not offer it our Best of CES 2025 award?
ASUS ROG Mjolnir

This is definitely one of the devices that lands under the “cool” label on our Best of CES 2025 list. We love to see companies having fun with what they do, and the ASUS ROG Mjolnir turns one of our favourite Marvel weapons into an ultimate power solution. Thor is the God of Thunder, so it makes sense that his devices would pack an electrical punch. The ROG Mjolnir is with LiFePO4 batteries, with a lifespan three times longer than standard lead acid batteries.
Obviously this power solution is kitted out to look like the famous hammer, but the ROG Mjolnir provides a slew of power delivery options including USB Type-C PD up to 100W and Qi2.0 wireless charging with MagSafe compatibility. It also supports devices up to 1200w for a minimum of 30 minutes, which ASUS boasts is up to six times longer than a standard UPS. The ASUS ROG Mjolnir packs a punch, and it does it while looking outstanding, landing it on our CES 2025 list.
GIGABYTE MO32U Gaming Monitor

With Dragon Age: The Veilguard on the screen and its striking design, it was hard not to notice the new GIGABYTE MO32U monitor at CES 2025. This 32-inch QD-OLED display offers a native 4K resolution and was stunning to view, especially in games and media that showcased its features. The MO32U’s 165Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support make it a strong contender for next-generation console gaming, while PC gamers will appreciate its lightning-fast responsiveness and wide colour gamut. Beyond visuals, GIGABYTE has included a dedicated Resolution Switch, allowing users to toggle quickly between different screen formats—a feature designed to facilitate quick swaps to the preferred 24-inch resolution, ideal for esports titles where every frame counts.
Delivering everything from vivid colour performance to essential software-driven features, the MO32U aims to help players maintain their competitive edge. GIGABYTE has also embedded AI-powered burn-in prevention technology, providing peace of mind regarding panel longevity and reliability. The MO32U even offers a built-in KVM switch, allowing the monitor to work seamlessly with multiple devices. For gamers looking to elevate their setup, this QD-OLED marvel could be a worthy addition to the new wave of display technology. It was a stunning display and one that we could not help testing out while we had the chance, so how could we not include it in this year’s selection for the Best of CES 2025.
Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye

Pinball meets fantasy in Stern Pinball’s new Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye at CES 2025, celebrating the iconic RPG’s 50th anniversary. But what helped secure this pinball table on this best of list is how it merges classic flipper action with a layered storyline. The game lets players join the Dragonshield Guild to battle Tiamat and her fearsome allies. Featuring a state-of-the-art animatronic dragon, Rath the Relentless—voiced by Michael Dorn—this machine brings an epic flair to every tilt and roll.
Each shot can shape the narrative, bolstered by dice rolls for a dash of authentic D&D flavour. Highlighting hidden trap doors, multi-ball mayhem and a star-studded voice cast that includes Kevin Smith and Luke Gygax. Stern’s Insider Connected platform allows progress to continue over multiple sessions, giving fans the chance to level up and perfect their strategies. While it may not be something everyone will buy and put in their home, it is a testament to Stern’s commitment to the medium, and a stunning machine that shows just how much people that love the medium can do with Pinball, even in 2025.
Lenovo Legion Go S

As one of the first third-party handhelds featuring SteamOS and a striking new design, Lenovo’s Legion Go S is shaping up to be a solid contender for anyone seeking their next device for gaming on the go. It boasts an eight-inch WUXGA display running at a silky-smooth 120Hz, powered by optional AMD Ryzen Z2 Go or Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors delivering impressive frame rates. Dual USB4 ports and Wi-Fi 6E keep you connected, whether pairing it with monitors or jumping into online multiplayer. With up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and microSD expansion for easy storage upgrades, the Lenovo Legion Go S marks a notable evolution from last year’s Legion Go.
Perhaps most exciting is that while it includes a Windows 11 option, a SteamOS version is available for those craving a console-like interface. SteamOS integrates seamlessly with your Steam library, offering a truly plug-and-play experience. Weighing about 730 grams, this compact device packs a 55.5Whr battery for extended sessions, proving that serious gaming can be both powerful and portable, and has everyone at CGM excited to get it into the office to see what this new handheld can really do.
XREAL One Pro

We were impressed by XREAL last year, and they’ve managed to surprise us once again with the XREAL One Pro, the best gaming AR glasses we’ve tried in a while. Weighing just 87 grams, they are designed for extended wear, combining thoughtful design with advanced features such as a modular camera add-on and an X1 spatial computing chip that anchors virtual screens in any environment.
What excited us most about the One Pro was its new proprietary flat-prism lens, which achieves a slim 11-millimetre profile, offering users both comfort and portability along with an impressive 57-degree field of view. With professional-grade colour accuracy and refined ergonomics, the One Pro is shaping up to be a key contender in immersive technology, pushing the boundaries of AR and setting a high bar for the industry. If that weren’t enough, I managed to play a game without feeling sick—something few AR or VR glasses have achieved. Well done, XREAL.
GeForce Now On Steam Deck

While NVIDIA captured much of the attention at CES 2025 with the announcement of its new 50-series GPUs, it was the news that GeForce Now would be coming to the Steam Deck that generated significant excitement. The new GPUs are impressive and, based on early benchmarks, are likely to please many PC gamers.
However, since not everyone can afford the high price of entry, the idea of achieving desktop-level quality through a cloud gaming platform—and now on the Steam Deck—is especially compelling. This development promises to deliver high-fidelity streaming to the popular handheld, allowing users to access a wide array of games without overtaxing the Steam Deck’s hardware. It’s a significant boost for those who enjoy visually demanding titles that might otherwise strain local performance.
NVIDIA also plans to offer features like HDR-quality graphics and DLSS for sharper visuals, along with Reflex for more responsive gameplay. Since the service processes data in the cloud, Steam Deck owners can expect improved battery life, allowing for longer gaming sessions on the go. This bold move highlights how cloud gaming can integrate seamlessly with portable devices, making PC-level performance more accessible for handheld enthusiasts. The Steam Deck already excels in its capabilities, and expanding the range of titles it can support benefits everyone by making gaming more accessible to a broader audience. It’s hard not to applaud Nvidia for this forward-thinking move.
Corsair FRAME 4000D Modular Case

Corsair knows how to make a splash when it comes to PC hardware, and their latest FRAME 4000D mid-tower delivers in many ways that make it worth the excitement. The 4000D features a unique modular approach that allows users to switch out the side and front panels with ease. With multiple configurations on offer—ranging from a base model with no fans to versions equipped with airflow-optimized or ARGB-enabled RS fans—the 4000D line starts at an estimated $99 for the bare-bones chassis, climbing higher for models that include additional cooling hardware.
But what elevates it beyond a standard PC case into something worthy of the best of CES is the way Corsair not only listens to what their users love and need, but managed to innovate in all the best ways possible.
From the Infinirail fan mounting system, which simplifies swapping fan sizes on both the front and top of the case for more flexible cooling options to the new 3D front-panel design also boosts airflow, the FRAME 4000D is a PC builders dream come true. Corsair’s FRAME 4000D is the type of innovation we love to see from CES: the ability to deliver what users need most, and it is something we can’t wait to test out when it releases later this year.
