MWC brings together everything you could ever want from the world of mobile technology, all in one place, with some exciting and unique concepts and innovative solutions to everyday problems. With CGMagazine on site for this year’s showcase, we took the time to track down the best, most exciting, and most innovative from the show floor and surrounding events.
This year brought everything from exciting foldable, innovative smartphone camera tech to, of course, the best options in gaming. With over eight show floors to look through, we have made selections of the most innovative tech at MWC 2025.
REDMAGIC 10 Pro

There is something to be said about pushing the envelope when it comes to performance and features, but REDMAGIC have gone above and beyond with their REDMAGIC 10 Pro. The Redmagic 10 Pro carries forward their commitment to being the best gaming phone on the market with their latest offering. Featuring configurations up to 24GB+1TB, and now with four colour options: Moonlight, Shadow, Dusk, Dusk Ultra and the new Golden Saga Limited Edition, it is a stunning phone that also pushes the limits of mobile gaming.
Is it a little extra? Of course, but REDMAGIC made it work, delivering a phone that is stunning to look at, feels incredibly unique, all while delivering one of the best mobile gaming experiences you can buy. With prices that start from $649, with the Golden Saga Limited Edition setting you back $1499, REDMAGIC keeps proving gaming on a phone does not need to feel like a compromised experience.
Bleequp Ranger – 4-in-1 AI Cycling Camera Glasses

We have all seen dashcams meant for your car, but company Bleequp is upping the game with Ranger, the 4-in-1 AI Cycling Camera Glasses. These new glasses made for cyclists combine an action camera, open-ear headphones, and a walkie-talkie all in one, giving riders hands-free access to the things they need while on the go. These glasses also sport a UV400 rating and IP54 rating and are compatible with prescription lenses.
What really lands the Ranger on our Most Innovative at MWC 2025 is that it can’t just record clips of your latest route, it can record hours of video. It boasts up to an hour of 1080p on the glasses themselves and then another four hours with a battery pack that can be mounted to your helmet. It also has the ability to cut clips using AI to pick out beautiful landscapes or sudden braking issues. The Bleequp Ranger 4-in-1 AI Cycling Camera Glasses look like they will be the ultimate tool for cyclists.
HUAWEI Mate XT

Foldable smartphones are nothing new, with Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, and many others working to bring unique experiences to the market, but few bring the sleek refinement that the HUAWEI Mate XT manages with a triple-fold design. Running the company’s own HarmonyOS, the HUAWEI Mate XT is a stunning device that goes from a relatively standard 6.4 inches to a fully unfolded 10.2 inches, making it finally possible to deliver a full tablet-like experience in your pocket.
The HUAWEI Mate XT is unquestionably a luxury smartphone that, depending on where you are in the world, could be challenging to pick up and use as your daily device, but that does not take away from the innovation and design that went into making this incredibly unique device. Now available globally and delivering an experience like no other, if you want to push the limit on what a smartphone can be and still look sleek while doing so, the HUAWEI Mate XT is, without question, one to check out.
Realme Ultra Interchangeable Lens Concept

It may be strange to see two different smartphone camera concepts on one list, but with two very different approaches, we felt like it was worth awarding both. First and foremost, while the realme Ultra may be taking on the interchangeable lens concept in a slightly less futuristic way, it is nonetheless still incredibly exciting. Instead of a magnetic lens that connects to the phone with pins, realme went the route of making a full mounting system using the Leica M-Mount, giving you options to use your phone as you would any standard small interchangeable lens camera.
It is an interesting way to tackle a problem, but the fact you can go well beyond the two lenses realme has suggested will be included in the box is exciting. It has the potential to change how mobile photographers use their smartphones and make a world of never-before-possible optics now possible. There are still plenty of questions, such as pricing, the lack of a grip and how realme plans to keep the concept going beyond a single year if it does release, but even with that all still up in the air, there is a lot to like about how the realme Ultra is shaping up.
Lenovo Magic Bay 2nd Display Concept

Lenovo came to MWC 2025 with more concept products than I have ever seen from one company in one show before. Of all of the great concepts they had on the show floor, the Magic Bay 2nd Display Concept really stood out to us and landed on our Most Innovative at MWC 2025 list. As journalists, gamers, and overall tech nerds, when we travel, we have to sacrifice our dual-screen setups, and this display concept makes your workspace on the go simpler than ever.
Though there are many portable displays out there, they are often bulky, take up a ton of desk space, and bring more cables than we care to lug around. Though Lenovo also announced the Magic Bay Dual Display Concept, this 2nd Display is a small 8-inch screen that folds up neat and tidy, uses pogo pins to connect to the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 wire-free, and takes up no extra space on your desk.
Lenovo markets the 2nd display toward AI tools, but there are so many things you could use it for like documents, messaging apps and more. Making our lives easier while travelling lands the Lenovo Magic Bay 2nd Display Concept on our Most Innovative at MWC 2025 list.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro

We have already reviewed the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and can confidently say that it is one of the best tablet experiences available right now, whether you’re a part of the Xiaomi ecosystem or not. Featuring a 3K, 2136 x 3200-pixel display, the tablet is a stunner to watch media or do creative work on and the 8850 mAh battery can keep up with the most intense users.
A big part of what makes the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro go above and beyond is the range of accessories aimed at productivity, with the Focus Keyboard with a trackpad being a favourite. This tablet competes with the best out there and comes out on top, making it one of our Most Innovative at MWC 2025.
DOOGEE V Max Play

At first glance, the DOOGEE V Max Play might look like a bulky smartphone and even have you thinking it is out dated. However, what you don’t see is all that is going on under the hood. DOOGEE devices are meant to be rough and tough, which means camping, hiking, working in the field and more. What the V Max Play is doing differently is bringing camping lights and, shockingly, a projector with you on the road.
This is a 5G LED projector, capable of playing 480p media whether you’re camping or maybe even going on a road trip. The device also features a 22,000 mAh battery, perfect for those moments when you can’t find a place to plug in. Power by a Mediatek 24M (MT7300) 4nm processor, 12GB RAM, and 512GB ROM, the DOOGEE V Max Play may be bulky, but it’s built for hard work.
Xiaomi Modular Optical System

Xiaomi has made a name for itself by releasing some of the best camera-focused phones available today, but for MWC 2025, the company stepped things up a notch. The Xiaomi Modular Optical System uses the frame of the Xiaomi 15 and adds a new magnetic and pin-based connection on the back that lets users attach a camera module.
The concept is a novel one, but Xiaomi’s implementation brings a new level of photography potential to the phone, making it possible to use more advanced optics that physically cannot fit into smartphones. The phone still works independently, but when attached, the camera enhances the experience and almost makes the device feel like a standalone Micro Four Thirds camera, complete with manual controls and focusing. While still only a concept, it is hard not to be excited about the potential.
Currently, there is no word on whether the concept will ever go into production, but one can only hope Xiaomi takes the plunge and brings it to reality. While the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is one of the best phone cameras we have ever used, the potential of true camera-like optics on a phone like this feels endless.
TECNO SPARK Slim

Smartphone companies have been consistently looking for ways to make our devices thinner and lighter, at just 5.75mm thick, it looks like TECNO has got it just right with the SPARK Slim. For reference, the new Samsung Galaxy Edge is reported to be 5.84 mm thick. What makes the TECNO SPARK Slim perfect for our Most Innovative at MWC 2025 is that it isn’t compromising on power to meet its thinness goals.
With a respectable 5200 mAh battery, the TECNO SPARK Slim can still compete with some major flagship devices in terms of battery. In person, the Slim was absolutely stunning, with a lineup of people waiting to get their hands on it. Not only does it have a flashy design and competitive battery, but it features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and 144Hz refresh rate. All of this, packed in one of the slimmest phones out there, lands the TECNO SPARK Slim on our Most Innovative at MWC 2025 list.
