Astro Bot

Astro Bot is a charming 3D platformer that puts players in control of a lovable little robot on a grand adventure. This PlayStation exclusive follows Astro as he hops, boosts, and punches his way through colorful worlds to rescue his robot buddies. The game expands on the beloved Astro’s Playroom tech demo, offering over 80 levels across six unique galaxies.

Players guide Astro through lush forests, sandy beaches, fiery volcanoes and more unexpected locales like giant hourglasses and singing trees. Along the way, they’ll unlock 15 new abilities that take full advantage of the PS5’s DualSense controller features. These range from transforming into a giant sponge to using frog-themed boxing gloves for long-range attacks.

The game is packed with PlayStation nostalgia, featuring cameos from iconic characters reimagined as cute robots. Sharp-eyed fans will spot bot versions of Kratos, Aloy, Nathan Drake and many more beloved PlayStation mascots. Some of these characters may even play larger roles in Astro’s quest.

Astro Bot aims to deliver a substantial storyline and gameplay experience when it launches on September 6, 2024. With its blend of classic platforming and innovative use of the PS5’s capabilities, it looks set to cement Astro’s place as PlayStation’s newest mascot.
