Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 takes players to a near-future world teetering on the brink of chaos. Set in 2042, the game drops you into massive multiplayer battles across sprawling maps ravaged by extreme weather events. You’ll fight as a No-Pat, a soldier without a country, caught between warring superpowers vying for dwindling resources.

The game does away with traditional classes, instead letting you play as unique Specialists with their own gadgets and abilities. Mix and match weapons and gear to create your ideal loadout for any situation. New features like the Plus system let you customize weapons on the fly mid-firefight.

Battlefield’s signature vehicular combat returns in full force, with tanks, jets, helicopters and more to command across land, sea and air. Dynamic weather adds another layer of unpredictability, as tornadoes rip across the battlefield and sandstorms reduce visibility to zero.

Beyond the main All-Out Warfare modes, Battlefield Portal lets you create custom experiences mixing elements from past Battlefield games. Meanwhile, the tense Hazard Zone mode offers high-stakes squad-based extraction gameplay.
