EA has announced Apex Legends: Takeover, the upcoming season of the chaotic battle royale game, releasing on February 11, 2025.
As EA and Respawn are wrapping up the From The Rift season, they are preparing the fans of Apex Legends with the launch of season 24, Takeover. Launching on February 11, EA has released the Takeover Anthem to showcase what the fans can expect in the upcoming season and experience the Outlands in an all-new light.
The Apex Legends: Takeover anthem is an animated trailer featuring the song Big Dawgs by Hanumankind and Kalmi, showcasing many fans celebrating and watching a live broadcast of many contestants preparing to enter the battlefield. The first contestant to be presented is Octane, donning his goggles as he crash lands onto the field, dashes across the land, and hijacks a vehicle from Mirage.
Other characters that were briefly showcased in the trailer are Alter eating an apple and fighting against a gang, Gibraltar squatting heavy plates with each kid at the end of the bar and unleashing his shield against incoming attacks, Loba dashing from the security while making her getaway with her bangle, and Valkyrie soaring in the sky and launching projectile against Octane. But while it seemed over for Octane, he was rescued by Fuse and his comrades.
Not much is known about the upcoming Apex Legends: Takeover season, as the announcement trailer only focused on the highlighted characters making a brief appearance and a look into the new Outlands design. In the meantime, as players await more details, updates about the upcoming season will be released next week with a gameplay trailer, Dev updates, and many more.
Apex Legends is available to download on PC via the EA App, Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One/ Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The upcoming Apex Legends season Takeover will be arriving on February 11, 2025.
