EA has announced the launch of Apex Legends’ new season, Takeover, bringing new features such as Creator Commissioners, Arsenals, Mythic R-301, and many more.
EA and the developers Respawn have launched Apex Legends’ latest season, Takeover, with many new features players can look forward to as they return to mayhem. The features that will be arriving in the game are Creator Commissioners, Arsenals, a Mythic R-301, Meta Changes, and many more.
Apex Legends is a Hero Shooter and battle royale game with many rosters for players to learn and harness their unique, powerful abilities. With the goal of fame and fortune, team up with friends or players from across the world to combine your abilities and strategically plan your next move if you wish to win, as it requires fast thinking, reflexes, and knowledge about the maps.
With Apex Legends wrapping up From the Rift season as it enters Takeover, the season will be offering many new features that players can look forward to. The features included are:
- Creator Commissioners – Many community favourite creators will be taking over the game, offering unique challenges and rewards for the players.
- Arsenals – A new weapon station that brings every weapon and its ammo types right at their fingertips.
- Meta Changes – New perks will be arriving in the Assualt Legends, offering Extra Firepower, Armed and Dangerous for extra ammo, grenade slots, and improved weapon handling, and Battle Surge for speed boost when reloading and moving on the shield cracks.
- Road to Ranked – An upgrade for players to access rank, making it more competitive while fun and fair.
- Anniversary Event – Celebrate the 6th anniversary of Apex Legends, with the opportunity to unlock 36 Anniversary Event items that are Legendary status or above, including a set of Heirloom Shards and the new Mythic R-301.
- Mythic R-301 – As a final reward for completing the Anniversary Event, players can unlock the Mythic R-301, with three unlockable tiers that come with a new void-inspired appearance, many animations from reloading to enemy knock effects, and new sounds to make the gun more unique.
