Astro Bot Adds 5 New Levels & Special Bots Begin Deploying Today

On Thursday, PlayStation revealed that they’re still producing new ASTRO BOT content and the title is set to launch five new levels, including Special Bots to search for.

With its first announcement of 2025, the makers of ASTRO BOT, Team ASOBI, have revealed that they’re still working on new content for the Game of the Year PlayStation exclusive platformer. Although the title received GOTY honours at this year’s Game Awards show, Team ASOBI remains committed to bringing more experiences to the forefront of their Bot-filled adventure. Like the last level update and time attack mode additions (complete with brand new cameo Special Bots), Team ASOBI is adding yet another five levels to the title. A trailer featuring actor Finn Woldhard has been released, celebrating ASTRO on PlayStation Portal, and it can be seen below.

Studio Director at Team ASOBI Nicolas Doucet says, “To start the year on a good note, we are delighted to announce new ASTRO BOT content is coming starting today.” Doucet then mentions the appearance of an unreleased level of ASTRO BOT previously unseen by the public featured at the PlayStation XP Tournament Final in London, England, on January 18, and says that will be a new level featured in the base game. Doucet continues by saying, “That very level, along with 4 additional ones will be coming your way inside the brand-new Vicious Void Galaxy, starting today.” Like every update before the new five levels, Team ASOBI is giving this one away free of charge.
