Koei Tecmo has revealed a brand new trailer for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, which also happens to be the opening for the game.
Developed by Gust, Atelier Yumia is the 26th entry in the long-running franchise. Even though it bears the same name, most of the Atelier games are only loosely connected — so you can start here just fine.
Yumia is a party-based, real-time action RPG where players explore the world and battle enemies while gathering items and materials. Like the rest of the series, Atelier Yumia features a heavy emphasis on alchemy and crafting but implements a new change that allows players to quick-craft and create items instantly while exploring.

“In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, players will follow alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt as she joins the Aladiss Research team in hope to unravel the mysteries behind the cataclysm that destroyed the once great continent of Aladiss.
Spearheaded by the Order of Eustella and led by Erhard, the Aladiss Research team is an organization focused on investigating the fallen land of Aladiss, and is composed by researchers, adventurers and mercenaries. Yumia and her friends will be tasked to travel across the three regions of the continent to uncover the mysteries hidden in the ruins of the fallen Aladissian Empire.”
A special physical Premium Edition of the game has also gone up for pre-order exclusively on the NIS America Online Store. This $159.99 package includes the game, a soundtrack, a short-story booklet, an artbook, a set of six acrylic keychains, and a Yumia’s Precious Stuffed Animal replica. Additionally, anyone that purchases either a physical or digital version within two weeks of release will receive the “Athlete of Memories” costume for Yumia.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land launches on March 21 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
