Best Film & TV Reveals From D23 2024: Disney, Star Wars

D23 2024’s Disney Entertainment Showcase revealed exclusive looks at its numerous upcoming movies and shows.

The Disney Entertainment Showcase kicked things off at D23 2024, coming out with a lot of triumph and hoopla. The three-hour-long presentation offered exclusive looks at Disney and their IPs’ movie and TV show slates. This included the live-action Lilo & Stitch, Avatar: Fire and Ash and Incredibles 3 for films, and then shows ranging from Daredevil: Born Again to Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The reveals were great, but Disney pulled out all the bells and whistles for the D23 2024 attendees. There were guest appearances from stars like Jeff Bridges and musical numbers featuring tunes from the upcoming films Moana 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King. Bob Iger and his fellow executives were not disappointed with the amount of entertainment and announcements at this year’s expo. Here is a breakdown of all of the best announcements that came out from D23 2024:

Moana 2 Official Trailer

The first full trailer shows Moana teaming up again with Maui, facing off a new threat, and dealing with a new issue. Alongside an in-person dance number, the two main stars, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho, took the stage to talk about what their characters will bring to the table when Moana 2 rides waves to the theatres on November 27, 2024.
