Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 Has Been Delayed, Fans Are Skeptical of Devs "Big Moment"

It has been revealed that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 has been delayed for a couple of weeks, and fans are skeptical things will improve.

This week, Activision announced that the upcoming launch date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 will be delayed by two weeks over on their official X (formerly Twitter) account. The Call of Duty team said “Season 03 is a big moment for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6, and we’re taking the time to deliver a great experience starting on April 3″ in the delay announcement, and it can be seen below.

Fans have notably expressed their ire over the Black Ops 6 team recently, and the team has not won any favours since reports have come out with Activision admitting they’ve used generative AI on “in-game assets.” Aside from that many fans have applauded the decision directly on X, hoping that more bugs and fixes will be implemented before launch this time as opposed to the Season Two launch. But others remain skeptical with one X user, KevinOConnorNBA saying “On one hand it’s encouraging that extra time is being taken to make it better On the other hand this month has been the target date for over a year and it’s not ready. I lean worried.”

Fans on Reddit have echoed this sentiment. Many fans have expressed disappointment over Activision’s decision to continue prioritizing Warzone over Black Ops 6, saying the mainline game multiplayer should remain separate from Warzone completely. User Used-Picture829 says “They need to pull Warzone and work on it because its current state is HORRIBLE and this comes from someone who was defending it during MW3 era. Black ops 6 ruined it” suggesting Warzone is in a bad state and the release of Black Ops 6 only adding to growing performance issues. Fans claim the title remains in a bad state despite Activision claiming fixes were coming in Season 2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 will now arrive on April 3.
