  • Fan-favourite weapons return to the battlefield. Warzone’s Season 03 battle pass will include weapons made popular during the initial Verdansk launch, including the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle and the HDR sniper rifle. The Kilo 141 assault rifle is included as an unlockable reward in the Return to Verdansk Event.
  • Return to Verdansk: from April 3 until April 15, fans can partake in this completely free Call of Duty; Warzone event with 20 rewards to unlock by playing games.
  • Original Announcer Returns: the original Announcer sometimes known as “UK Team Leader” is back, bringing back the nostalgic feel to the original Verdansk map. 150 players, a 30-player return to form, will also be implemented. Combatants will also be allowed to shoot while falling in the air, swapping between parachute and shooting modes to damage adversaries.
  • Omnimovement Adjustments: Call of Duty is using Season 03 as an opportunity to fine-tune player movement by slightly scaling back some of the speed increases introduced to omnimovement, and these adjustments bring movement feel back to how it felt initially in Warzone.
  • Circle Zone Adjustment: Circle Collapse mechanics are just how you remember them from five years ago with Loadout Drops at the second and fifth circles. So-called endgame “dead zones” have been minimized.
  • Verdansk points-of-interest will open as Season 03 wears on.

While the Call of Duty: Warzone Blog does a great job getting into the fine-tuned details and quality of life changes, Warzone has also shown how they’ve returned Verdansk to its former glory, brick-by-brick. While extensive play-by-play details can be found, there are still a few tricks Call of Duty has kept up its sleeve for fans to figure out during the Season 03 runtime.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 03 will start on April 3.
