The Lenovo Legion line-up exploded at CES 2024 with a brand-new ecosystem, including new Intel Core 9th-Gen towers and 16-inch gaming laptops like the Legion 9i.
Lenovo is taking CES 2024 to introduce an entire gaming ecosystem across the Legion series, which includes devices, software and services. They are using the new slogan “Reach Your Impossible” to launch the line, “‘Reach Your Impossible’ can mean something different to each gamer. Whether it’s topping the leaderboards in professional esports, successfully leading an endgame raid with teammates the world over, or anything in between, Lenovo Legion has the tools that give gamers the edge they need to succeed, both on the digital battlefield and in work or study.”
New Lenovo Legion Laptops & Towers at CES 2024
▪ The Lenovo Legion 7i (16”, 9), Lenovo Legion 5i (16”, 9), and Lenovo Legion Slim 5 (16”, 9) are for gamers who need a laptop that can handle their favourite games as well as their STEM apps.
▪ The Lenovo Legion 9i is for those who will settle for nothing less than the best in their gaming and content creation pursuits.
▪ The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (16”, 9) and Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (16”, 9) are for gamers who need the ultimate in FPS, style, and screen.
▪ The Legion Tower 7i and Legion Tower 5i are for those who need the extra horsepower of a top-tier gaming tower PC.
Announced at CES 2023, Lenovo is showcasing their LA AI chips in their devices, boasting that they are “mightier than ever, enabling Lenovo Legion and Lenovo LOQ laptops to achieve even higher FPS, increased power efficiency, and more.”
Lenovo Legion 9i at CES 2024
The new Lenovo Legion 9i showcases the upgraded LA3-P AI chip, which brings Scenario Detection to the system, adjusting CPU and GPU performance based on usage and Smart FPS, tracking power usage “between hardware components and FPS output,” scanning FPS data on-screen to optimize power to increase FPS in games.
Legion Aurora Sync will use AI to match what is on the screen to the keyboard and environmental RGBs. Smart Control is implemented to give gamers the ability to switch between preset power profiles, which include a custom mode. Finally, Lenovo Vantage will allow users to control fan speed, thermal modes and other AI-assisted settings.
