At CES 2025, the latest and greatest tech from around the globe is being showcased for the weekend, and HP has brought its newest gaming innovations to the forefront of its catalogue.
HP delivers solid offerings with its OMEN and HyperX lines of gaming peripherals, designed to meet gamers’ performance needs. At CES 2025, HP has gone a step further, unveiling new innovations that rival competitors and offering first looks at technologies set to carry its gaming brands into 2025 and beyond. This year, HP focused heavily on AI innovations, starting its gaming presentation by explaining how it is taking a different approach from CoPilot+ and OpenAI integration in the gaming sector. The company introduced the OMEN AI Beta within the new OMEN gaming hub, allowing players to optimize their gaming experience.
OMEN Gaming Hub Key Features

- One Click Solution – By hitting the toggle for the OMEN AI gaming hub, users can deploy the entire experience without any extra installation or tutorial.
- Universal Game System – With this functionality, users can find their entire catalogue of games without excavation.
- OMEN AI Beta Functionality – Although it’s still in Beta, the CES 2025 announced OMEN AI seeks to deliver fast solutions for user’s gaming issues. Like the toggle for the OMEN gaming hub, OMEN AI functions similarly with one-click optimization that lets the user stay in-game, while AI finds the best hardware, Operating System, and in-game setting adjustments to bring visual fidelity and overall performance to its peak. It’s worth mentioning the only title compatible with OMEN AI Beta will be Counter-Strike 2 and then it will work for other titles as functionality rolls out.
- Take The Wheel – For those who don’t wish to utilize OMEN AI Beta, the OMEN gaming hub puts the player in the driver seat, and allows complete control over auto dynamic response rate and power settings to efficiently optimize functionality. FPS can also be adjusted and optimized accordingly, as well as RGB lighting to customize the user’s experience further.
- Monitor Your Health – Users have complete data spread on how their PC’s internal functions are handling its workload. CPU, GPU and RAM can be seen and the functions that utilize most of the workload can be managed. When deployed on select OMEN PCs, the OMEN gaming hub can overclock your system to reach epic performance.
CES 2025: All HP + OMEN Gaming Laptop Announcements + Key Specifications

The OMEN gaming hub isn’t all that HP brought to CES 2025. The massive gaming brand also unveiled its latest line of gaming laptops and shared key specifications for all three, including the powerful OMEN MAX 16 gaming laptop, equipped with AMD Ryzen or Intel processors. All the newly revealed PCs come with Windows 11 Home, the latest operating system from Microsoft.
Each of the gaming laptops presented by HP offers customization options for the CPU. They can be configured with up to the latest AMD technology, including the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX, which features an impressive 16-core framework. For those seeking advanced AI capabilities, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 is also available. The OMEN 16 and Victus 15 can be equipped with Intel processors, including the high-performance Intel Ultra 9, formerly codenamed ‘Meteor Lake.’ However, it’s worth noting that the Victus 15 lacks any advanced AI processing power and does not offer AI processing unit options.
Where the OMEN MAX 16 stands apart is in its sheer power. It supports the most advanced AMD Ryzen and Intel processors currently available: the 12-core, 24-thread AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 and the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which boasts an impressive 24 cores. This ensures the OMEN MAX 16 can tackle any demanding task or game effortlessly. With a display refresh rate ranging from 48 Hz to 240 Hz, it also delivers stunning visuals for an optimal gaming experience.

HP and OMEN introduced one more innovation at CES 2025: the OMEN 32x Smart Gaming Monitor. With a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, cloud gaming capabilities, and Google TV functionality, this monitor is ideal for the minimalist gamer.
Although the OMEN 32x is a smart gaming monitor, its Google TV functionality allows users to access all their streaming services in one place without needing to switch between apps. Instead of searching for “what to watch,” users can browse a single app seamlessly, with no extra attachments required. For those needing to connect external devices, the OMEN 32x is equipped with two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort 2.4, and a USB-C plug for efficient connectivity.

The last innovation HP brought to the CES 2025 table, is an update to its catalogue of gaming mice (outside the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 line), and with the newly introduced HyperX Pulsefire Saga and Saga Pro Wireless, HyperX gamers haven’t had the ability to customize their peripheral to this degree before. Both HyperX Pulsefire Saga mice allow the user to interchange pieces using its magnetic modular system, giving the user ultimate control over customization.
That’s not all. In addition to interchangeable components, each HyperX Pulsefire Saga (including the wired version) comes with a download code for 3D-printed components, allowing users to download and print them on standard 3D printers to truly personalize their mouse. Beyond its highly customizable design, the HyperX Pulsefire Saga, unveiled at CES 2025, features a 4K polling rate, ensuring users can stay competitive while enjoying extensive customization options.
That wraps up the gaming innovations HP showcased at CES 2025. Consumers can find more information on the HP website. In the meantime, readers can stay up to date on all of CGMagazine’s CES 2025 news and announcements here!
