CES 2025 has had no shortage of major gaming announcements, and Lenovo was no different, bringing new Lenovo Legion laptops, desktops and monitors to the show.
Lenovo Legion Laptops at CES 2025
At CES 2025 the new Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, Lenovo Legion Pro 5i and Lenovo Legion Pro 5 were announced, including new “aggressive design language” with more performance, and new Lenovo PureSight OLED display options. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i and Lenovo Legion Pro 5i are sporting Intel CPUs with up to Intel Core™ Ultra 9 275HX processors. However, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 will be featuring up to AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processors.
Cooling has seen a boost in the new Legion Pro lineup, with the Legion Pro 7i featuring Legion Coldfront Vapor, allowing for up to 250W TDP (thermal design power) and the Legion Pro 5 series using Coldfront Hyper technology for up to 200W TDP. You will also find Lenovo AI Engine+ in these devices, brining Scenario Detection in Performance Mode and Balance Mode which dynamically adjusts CPU and GPU wattage to maximize performance.

Lenovo Legion Desktops at CES 2025

Lenovo not only brought improved gaming laptops, but they also unveiled the Lenovo Legion Tower 7i, Lenovo Legion Tower 5i and Lenovo Legion Tower 5 pre-built desktops. Cooling has also been a major focus on their desktops, with Legion Coldfront cooling allowing the Lenovo Legion Tower 7i to put out up to 250W of TDP, and the Legion Tower 5i and Legion Tower 5 using air cooling to put out up to 180W TDP.

Lenovo Legion Monitors at CES 2025
Of course, what is your gaming desktop without an excellent gaming monitor to go with it? Lenovo announced the Lenovo Legion Pro 34WD-10 Gaming Monitor and the Lenovo Legion R34w-30 Monitor to go alongside their new towers.
The Legion Pro 34WD-10 Gaming Monitor boasts a curved 34” WQHD PureSight OLED Display with 800R curvature, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time. Something special about the Lenovo Legion Pro 34WD-10 is the inclusion of its USB Type-C one-cable solution that delivers max 140W power, giving your monitor the ability to charge your laptop or other devices. It can also send and receive video signal and data through the triple USB-A, dual USB-C port hub. AI Technology includes an Anti-Burn algorithm and user detection, and the 34WD-10 has an onboard KVM switch for easy swapping.

The Lenovo Legion R34w-30 Monitor is a 34″ curved UWQHD 21:9 display with a 1500R curvature radius. The monitor features a 180Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms MPRT and delivers crisp, clear images with 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.
The Legion Pro WD34-10 Gaming Monitor will be available starting March 2025, with an expected starting price of $999.99 and the Legion R34w-30 Gaming Monitor will be available starting January 2025, with an expected starting price of $399.99.
Lenovo also made major announcements surrounding the Yoga and IdeaPad line, the Lenovo Legion Go handheld, Lenovo Go 2 Prototype and new Lenovo Legion Tab, the ThinkBook laptop line and a brand-new rollable display in the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 laptop at CES 2025.
