CES 2026: Lenovo Unveils Exciting Legion Gaming Hardware With Serious Power

Legion took centre stage at CES 2026 as Lenovo unveiled a lineup that blends experimental design with serious gaming power.

Lenovo is no stranger to unique concepts at CES, and this year was no exception. The company introduced a range of new Legion devices that push the limits of what to expect from gaming hardware while remaining true to Lenovo’s design identity.

Without question, the showstopper of the new Lenovo Legion lineup is the Legion Pro Rollable Concept, a laptop featuring a screen that physically expands from 16 inches to a full 24 inches. The rollable display uses a dual-motor system to unfold the OLED panel horizontally with minimal noise. Competitive esports players can begin at 16 inches for focused practice, expand to 21.5 inches for tactical drills, or extend to the full 24 inches to better match tournament conditions. Under the hood, the system is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU.

Not content to stop there, Lenovo also showcased an AI Frame Gaming Display concept that tracks what is happening on screen and adjusts accordingly. The monitor can zoom in on key areas, such as mini-maps during first-person shooter matches, recognize challenging boss fights and display real-time guidance, and even shift its ambient lighting based on in-game events.

On the handheld front, the Legion Go now ships with SteamOS pre-installed. The device runs on AMD’s Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and offers up to 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage. Its 8.8-inch OLED screen delivers access to the full Steam library, complete with quick suspend and resume features.

Continuing with its gamer-focused announcements, Lenovo introduced the Legion 7a laptop, which targets users who need more than raw gaming power. It is 10 percent lighter than the previous model and is equipped with AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 processors, alongside RTX 50-series graphics with 125 watts of total power delivery. The Legion 5 series and LOQ laptops round out the lineup, offering options aimed at students and budget-conscious players.

Lenovo also introduced a range of Legion laptops aimed at broadening access to its gaming-focused lineup. Positioned between entry-level and flagship models, the Legion 5 series is designed for versatility. The 15-inch chassis is noticeably lighter and thinner this year, making it easier to carry between classes or meetings. Buyers can choose between Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors in the Legion 5i or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series chips in the Legion 5a, with both configurations paired with RTX 50-series graphics. The laptops also feature Lenovo PureSight OLED displays and use the Legion Coldfront Hyper cooling system to help maintain performance during extended gaming sessions.

At the more affordable end of the lineup, the LOQ series continues Lenovo’s focus on budget-conscious gamers by offering capable specifications without premium pricing. Both the LOQ 15AHP11 and 15IPH11 models include NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series graphics, positioning them as solid entry points for users who need a system that can handle both coursework and gaming. The laptops use Lenovo’s Hyperchamber Cooling technology, which helps draw heat away from key components while keeping fan noise under control. The 15AHP11 is powered by AMD Ryzen 200 Series processors, while the 15IPH11 uses Intel Core Ultra chips, although availability of the latter will be limited to select markets outside the United States.
