Enhancing user experience while watching movies or shows, LG announces its upcoming LG Micro RGB Evo and Sound Suite ahead of CES 2026.
With CES 2026 around the corner, LG unveils the company’s first flagship RGB TV, the LG Micro RGB evo, utilizing Micro RGB Technology and the smallest RGB LEDs for a bright and colourful display. Alongside the announcement of the Micro RGB evo, LG announces the LG Sound Suite to pair with their premium TV lineups, introducing immersive audio quality with the power of Dolby Atmos FlexConnectTM.
LG Micro RGB evo
Introducing its first flagship RGB TV, the LG Micro RGB evo features Micro RGB Technology and LG TV’s smallest RGB LEDs, improving on MiniLED technology by controlling the RGB LED backlights with OLED precision for enhanced colour accuracy. Powered by the Dual AI Engine-based a (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3, the processor utilizes Dual Super Upscaling to process two types of AI upscaling simultaneously, improving the image sharpness and clarity.
With the AI processing power, the LG Micro RGB evo achieved three Intertek Certifications for BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB, delivering the highest colour accuracy whether the user is editing photos or watching films and TV shows. Paired with the certified Intertek display, the TV features Micro Dimming Ultra, which manages brightness and colour control to reveal details in dark and bright scenes.
As the LG Micro RGB evo operates on the LG webOS platform, users will have access to Voice ID, AI Picture/Sound Wizard, and a personalized “My Page” home screen. Additionally, LG webOS features an abundance of AI tools, including an upgraded AI Concierge, AI Chatbot, and AI Search, designed to help users explore content-related information.
The LG Micro RGB evo will be available in 75-inch, 86-inch, and 100-inch models on an announced date.
LG Sound Suite
For users to craft their own home theatre experience, LG announces the LG Sound Suite, featuring an H7 Soundbar, M7 and M5 surround speakers, and a W7 subwoofer. Highlighting the H7 soundbar, the speaker features Dolby FlexConnectTM, bringing an immersive Dolby Atmos sound to users. Paired with the systems’ Peerless speaker units, the Dolby Atmos FlexConnectTM allows users to enjoy immersive audio quality with a flexible setup. Additionally, LG will bring Dolby Atmos FlexConnectTM to its 2026 premium TV lineup and select 2025 models.
To pair with the Dolby Atmos FlexConnectTM, LG implements Sound Follow to help with users’ flexible Sound Suite setup, utilizing ultra-wideband technology to adjust the listening experience based on their location. Alongside the ultra-wideband technology, the Sound Suite features Room Calibration Pro, which analyzes the audio acoustic characteristics and applies AI processing for a balanced sound quality.
Powered by the a (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3, the H7 soundbar utilizes deep learning and a Neural Processing Unit for crafting sound with high accuracy. Incorporating AI, the LG Sound Suite features AI Sound Pro+ to blend stereo audio into a spatial audio experience, and AI-powered object separation to ensure voices, music, and sound effects are clear and balanced. Lastly, the LG Sound Suite adapts the audio based on the content genres.
