From gaming on your desktop to an LG Smart TV, LG announces UltraGear evo lineup ahead of the CES 2026, along with exclusive titles arriving on the LG Gaming Portal.
Elevating users’ gaming setup, LG debuts its latest premium gaming monitor brand, UltraGear evo, ahead of the CES 2026, giving a glimpse into what to expect from the gaming monitor lineup. The upcoming monitors introduce the first 5K, and 5K2K displays across its OLED, New MiniLED, and Ultra-Wide models, each featuring a unique quirk for different types of players. Alongside the UltraGear evo monitors, LG expands its Gaming Portable library for LG Smart TV users, including titles such as Just Dance Now, My Little Puppy, Quest for Sunflowers, and more.
UltraGear evo Gaming Monitors

Pushing the boundaries of high-resolution gaming, the LG UltraGear evo lineup introduces 5K and 5K2K gaming to players across three flagship models, each featuring a unique quirk for various types of players, whether they are casual, competitive, or both. However, at the core of the latest UltraGear evo lineup, the 39-inch GX9 and 27-inch GM9 monitors incorporate an on-device AI solution, bringing 5K-class clarity with 5K AI Upscaling technology, AI Scene Optimization to enhance the image quality, and AI Sound to improve the sound quality.
Scheduled to debut at CES 2026, here is a highlight of each of the UltraGear evo monitors and their unique features:
- UltraGear evo 39-inch GX9 (39GX950B) – Combining high fidelity and refresh rates in one package, the 1500R-curved 21:9 ultrawide monitor features a Dual Mode to adapt for various gaming genres, with the option between 5K2K resolution at 165Hz for graphically demanding games and a WFHD resolution at 330Hz with 0.03ms (GtG) response time for competitive titles. Additionally, the monitor utilizes LG Primary RGB Tandem OLED technology for improved brightness and colour accuracy. Lastly, the monitor features 5K AI Upscaling technology, AI Scene Optimization, and AI Sound.
- UltraGear evo 27-inch GM9 (27GM9508) – Utilizing a 5K New MiniLED display to improve blooming control, the monitor can deliver professional-grade 5K precision with optical clarity, while combining 2,304 local dimming zones with Zero Optical Distance to deliver ultra-high luminance and improved contrast accuracy. Additionally, the monitor supports Dual Mode, allowing players to switch between 5K resolution at 165Hz and QHD resolution at 330Hz. Similar to the 39-inch model, the GM9 features 5K AI Upscaling technology, AI Scene Optimization, and AI Sound.
- UltraGear evo 52-inch G9 (52G930B) – For those looking to game on a massive screen, the 1000R-curved 12:9 panoramic view monitor features a 5K2K resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate, while providing a workspace 33 percent wider than a standard UHD monitor.
New games arriving on the LG Gaming Portal

Housing 4,000 cloud-based games and 600 casual titles, LG Smart TV users can look forward to many upcoming titles arriving on the LG Gaming Portal, ranging from dancing to racing with friends. The titles that will be available on the LG Gaming Portal are:
- Just Dance Now – In collaboration with Ubisoft, users are invited to follow their favourite dancing routine with the LG Magic Remote, utilizing its remote control’s motion-sensing technology to follow their movement. Just Dance Now is available on LG Smart TVs running webOS 22 or later in the US, Australia, Sweden, and Norway. Users across Europe will be receiving the game in the following weeks.
- Volley – Played by over 50 million players, LG partners with Volley, a leading developer of voice AI games for smart TVs. Volley’s TV gaming lineup includes many game show classics, such as Jeopardy! and original games, like Song Quiz, a music trivia game.
- Asphalt Legends Unite – For the fans of the Asphalt series, LG unites with Blacknut to launch Asphalt Legends, bringing the high-speed action racing title to players from their couch. Available for free with ads, players will have access to all the cars and maps right from the get-go, allowing players to race any supercar without in-game purchases. Not to mention, US players can join the race instantly by simply pressing the directional keys on their remote.
- My Little Puppy – Published by Krafton and offered by Blacknut, My Little Puppy follows the story of a dog embarking on a journey of relationships, farewells, and reunions.
- Quest for Sunflower – Developed by Couchplay, the Grand Prize winner of last year’s LG webOS Hackathon. Quest for Sunflower follows an epic family adventure, featuring unique graphics and dynamic AI-generated storytelling.
- Signs of Magic – Developed by Lukas Klingsbo, the second-place winner of last year’s LG webOS Hackathon. Signs of Magic invites players to embark on a magical journey to fight monsters with Elowen, a wizard. The LG Magic Remote serves as a magic wand in the magical title, using its gyroscopic sensor to map out gestures as spells.
Before wrapping up, LG has launched an LG Mobile Gamepad Wi-Fi for iOS and Android, making it easier for users to play various titles on their smart TV with a virtual gamepad, such as Asphalt Legends and My Little Puppy.
