They have been teasing it for weeks, but at CES 2026, the motorola razr fold was finally announced, a new, book-style foldable.
The smartphone brand known for the original flip phone, Motorola, has given us a glimpse of their newest device, the motorola razr fold. The company has been making various versions of the razr flip phone, and they are making the dive into the vertical foldable. Though there are still very few details available, we have compiled everything we know about Motorola’s latest foldable.
First, the motorola razr fold continues the company’s partnership with Pantone, bringing beautiful colours and textures to the device. The Fold will come in Pantone Blackened Blue, with a vegan leather matte finish, or Pantone Lily White, featuring a sleek and silky texture.
The smartphone will feature an inner 8.1″ display and an external 6.6″ display, making it narrowly larger than the Samsung Z Fold7 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Both are 2K LTPO displays, perfect for watching media. The company also mentioned that the new razr foldable will offer popular AI features like Catch Me Up, and it will work with Moto’s line of pens for drawing or productivity.
Though there isn’t a ton of information about the razr fold’s internal components, there were some details shared about the device’s camera system, and we are impressed so far. You can see the details below.
