GRAMMY-winning artist Chappell Roan has kicked off festival season 13 of Fortnite, adding many new hits from her discography.
Announced with a beautiful video that incorporates stop-motion, tapestry animation, and claymation, we see Chappell Roan fly on a pegasus while slaying monsters with a flaming sword. Fans had a very popular reaction to the trailer, with user VossParck on the ChappellRoan subreddit saying, “I love this, a perfect combination between Damsels & Other Dangerous Things and the classic Midwest Princess. Fortnite, keep the skins and songs coming like Sabrina Carpenter. My wallet will be empty, but my heart will be happy”.
Three new cosmetic skins will be included alongside the update, which are all based on her previous appearances in various musical performances. The Chappell Roan outfit and the Roan of Arc outfit are both added in, with the former having a pink and unlockable red colorway.
When an artist is added to Fortnite, their arrival typically includes themed accessories, and Chappell Roan is no exception. The Midwest Princess Keytar and the Pink Pony Club Jam Track will be available through Fortnite’s Music Pass. In addition, several other cosmetic items will be sold through the Item Shop. These include her previously announced outfits, the Pink Pony Sidekick, the Femininomenon emote and three new Jam Tracks based on her songs Good Luck, Babe!, HOT TO GO! and The Giver.
The Chappell Roan Music Pass will be available until April 16, 2026. The pass is priced at 1,400 V-Bucks. However, members of Fortnite Crew will receive it at no additional cost, alongside access to the LEGO Pass, Battle Pass and OG Pass.
Players interested in the Roan of Arc skin can purchase it for 1,800 V-Bucks. The bundle includes the sword featured in the trailer, a back bling and a pickaxe. An additional bundle option is also available, offering several extra cosmetics and a savings of 2,600 V-Bucks compared with purchasing the items individually.
