Asus announced that its gaming laptops will launch in new configurations featuring Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPUs. These devices will include both Intel- and AMD-based models across the Strix, Zephyrus and TUF lineups. Below are the new Asus devices that will feature the RTX 5060 laptop GPUs:

- TUF Gaming A16
- TUF Gaming A18

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPUs promise “the same features, innovations and advantages of the GeForce RTX 5060 desktop family.” This includes the NVIDIA Blackwell RTX architecture, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, 144 FPS Ultra Settings, and more. NVIDIA has also promised that the new RTX 5060 laptops will be more than double the speed of the previous gen laptops, have lower latency and enhanced image quality.
ASUS ROG Strix RTX 5060 Laptops

The Asus ROG Strix laptop line features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor or an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, and is now available with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. The ROG Strix G16 and G18 will implement the new laptop GPUs, and both CPU configurations will support up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, delivering power and speed.
Other ROG Strix features include a stunning ROG Nebula display with up to a 240Hz refresh rate, 3 ms response time and 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour coverage. The Strix also offers advanced Tri-Fan cooling, a full-width heatsink and surround ventilation to keep things in check while you game—plus dual PCIe 4.0 SSD slots and PCIe Gen 5 support on Intel models.
The ROG Strix G18 RTX 5060/Intel model will be available online at the ASUS store or Best Buy on May 26th, 2025, with the RTX 5060/AMD version available sometime in late June, 2025, online at the ASUS store and select retailers.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus RTX 5060 Laptops

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus is the perfect balance of power and portability, and with the new RTX 5060 laptop GPUs, you can add affordability to that list, too. The Zephyrus G14 and G16 will now come with an option for a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU configuration. Both devices come in under 1.6cm thick, and thanks to the CNC-milled aluminum chassis, they are extremely light, especially for gaming laptops, at 3.46 lbs (G14) and 4.30 lbs (G16). Both devices also offer 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage
The two devices do offer some different features aside from just their size. The ROG Zephyrus G14 has an AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370 Processor and up to 32GB of LPDDR5X 8000 memory. The ROG Zephyrus G16, however, can offer up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 285H or AMD Ryzen AI 7 HX 350 Processor, and up to 32GB of LPDDR5X 7467 memory.
The ROG Zephyrus G16 and G14 will be available beginning on May 26, 2025, on the ASUS Store and more.
ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5060 Laptops

The Asus TUF Gaming laptop line is seeing several models equipped with the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPUs, including four new entries: the TUF Gaming A14, A16, A18 and F16. Starting with the TUF Gaming A14, gamers can now look to the TUF line for portable performance, as the A14 measures just 1.69 cm thick and weighs only 3.22 pounds. Stocked with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU, AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, dual-channel LPDDR5 memory, two M.2 SSD slots and USB power delivery, this could become a favourite among gamers on the go.
Next up are the TUF Gaming A16, featuring up to an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX, and the TUF Gaming F16, which offers up to an Intel Core i7 14650HX processor—both equipped with the RTX 5060 laptop GPU. These TUF Gaming laptops include a 2.5K 165Hz display with 100 per cent sRGB colour accuracy, second-generation Arc Flow fans, up to 32 GB DDR5 5600 MHz RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5060 announcements, though, is the TUF Gaming A18—the first 18-inch laptop to take on the TUF name. This new beast is fitted with an AMD Ryzen 7 260 Processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, plus up to 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. The real perk here, beyond power, performance and price, is the TUF Gaming A18’s 18-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits of peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage.

The TUF Gaming A18 16GB DDR5-5600MHz model will be available on May 19th at Staples and the ASUS Store, while the 32GB DDR5-5600MHz model will be available on May 26, 2025, at the ASUS Store and select retailers. The TUF Gaming A16 will be available in late June 2025 at the ASUS Store and more. The TUF Gaming F16 will come in five configurations, the first of which will release on May 19th at the ASUS Store and more, with others to follow, and finally, the TUF Gaming A14 will arrive in late June at the ASUS Store and select retailers.
With ASUS implementing the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPUs across multiple laptop lines, they aim to solidify their spot in the gaming laptop market. Not only that, but the company is bringing NVIDIA’s promise of power at a more digestible price point.
