After the astronomical success of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, No Loading Games has brought the universe to life with a brand new tabletop game.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted, as the name suggests, is a fast-paced cooperative board game designed for up to four people to play concurrently. Players will be able to take on the roles of their favorite characters from the show, like Maine, David, and Lucy, to take on and complete missions on the streets of Night City. Each session should run for about 25 minutes, where players must act quickly and coordinate their actions with each other.
The best part of anything in the Cyberpunk universe is, of course, Night City, so any fan will be glad to know that no two runs will be the same. This is due to a modular map design, which allows a different way to play in each run. The map itself is even designed by the artist Laure De Chateaubourg. Each mission played on the board will have multiple objectives to complete, and if you don’t complete them, you will risk an escalation of existing threats.

No Loading Games said in the press release that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted is “easy to learn but hard to master,” and that fact rings true based on the board games formerly developed by the studio, like their work on Gwent. So it’s a good thing that they have included three tutorial scenarios to help players get used to the game.
“We wanted the game to feel like a playable extension of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. Fans will find references to episode titles, crew dynamics, and key storylines throughout the board game in elements like mission cards, character boards, and even in the ways different enemies chase you. At the same time, we also paid tribute to Cyberpunk 2077 by incorporating Street Cred and cyberware into the game. Our goal was to create a tabletop experience that is unmistakably Edgerunners,” said Board Game Authors from APEX Ideenschmiede, Andreas Dobrindt-Ostner and Martina Dobrindt.
