Team17 and Sassy Chap Games have pulled back the curtain today to reveal their upcoming Date Everything! dating sim, allowing fans to cozy up with stars.
The previously revealed dating simulator where the player can date everything has unearthed an official release date, as Team17 and Sassy Chap Games have announced Date Everything! will launch digitally on June 17 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The new simulator allows players to date nearly everything from regular household objects to the front door itself. A new video trailer explaining “Dateviator” glasses and how players can start getting romantically involved can be seen below.
Date Everything! has previously run into a few development snags with a few delays since being announced last year, but Team17 and Sassy Chap have committed to a June 17 release. In the new simulator, players will equip Dateviator glasses, letting the protagonist see the world through a new lens that reveals everyday items ‘romantic potential.’ Players can even hold a conversation with the air itself, showing Sassy Chap Games really means “everything.”
The “everything” included in the new dating sim is voiced by a star-studded cast packed with recognizable names in video game voice acting. The cast includes Felicia Day (who voices the narrator in the video above), Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI), Matt Mercer (Critical Role), BAFTA Award winners Laura Bailey (The Last of Us), Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate III), Troy Baker (Indiana Jones and the Great Circle), and Ashly Burch (Horizon series) — and there’s still more to be revealed.
Date Everything! includes 100 fully voiced datable characters with multiple endings for each character, leaving a lot for players to discover when Date Everything! officially launches on June 17. Fans can find more information on the Sassy Chap Games website leading up to its release.
