Late Tuesday, Ryan Reynolds, lead actor and producer of Deadpool & Wolverine, took to social media to drop a deleted scene from the film, and fans love it.
Now that Deadpool & Wolverine has officially launched on Disney+, lead actor and writer on the third Marvel fourth-wall-breaking film, Ryan Reynolds has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share an NSFW deleted scene from the film, it can be seen below.
The clip has been seen over seven million times since Reynolds posted it on X and since Deadpool & Wolverine launched on Disney+. The red and black-clad hero starts the scene by declaring, “My Peter gave me a sense of belonging when no one else would,” serenading Peter Wisdom (played by Rob Delaney), and continuing with “from the diaphragm, YEAH!” hoping the other red and black heroes would join. Instead, Reynolds is met with a chorus of obscenities, including “Go back to Canada, a******” in what otherwise could have been a heartfelt moment.

Paul Mullin, an active player on the Welsh Wrexham FC Soccer Club that Reynolds co-owns, has made a cameo in this particular scene with his brand of expletives, and Reynolds himself teased the cameo on X back in July. Reynolds said then “You may have noticed one member of the Deadpool Corps was far deadlier than the rest. WELSHPOOL” of the cameo from Mullin.
Users have taken to the comments section under the post to grieve what could have been, demanding the scene be put back in the film. User eddiejedi said “This should not have been deleted”. Another user, Kalle_Crypto12, said, “Only Ryan Reynolds could make a deleted scene feel like the main event!” While fans have seemingly gravitated toward the small scene, Reynolds has not confirmed whether the scene would make it into future releases of the film or not.
Deadpool & Wolverine can now be streamed on Disney+.
