Devolver continues the announcement spree of SGF 2024, and they’ve revealed they are hosting an SGF 2024 Devolver Direct that will double as Volvy’s 15th birthday party.
As all major game developers and publishers are gearing up for the exciting Summer Games Fest 2024, no one else has stayed as true to nature as Devolver with their insistence on making everything zany and fun. In a new release, Devolver has announced their annual Devolver Direct, and of course, it also doubles as their mascot, Volvy’s 15th birthday party bash. In typical celebration fashion, Devolver promises “partygoers with a big handful of gaming gifts, including updates and release dates for upcoming titles as well as some exciting new reveals.”
What’s more interesting is Volvy was introduced to the general public just last year in 2023, so Devolver has extra explaining to do during the Devolver Direct. They’ll have to tell fans why they’ve been keeping such a secret for all these years. But, all jokes aside (and there will surely be many), Devolver is hosting another showcase that is aiming to be approximately 20 minutes long and will feature all of the latest titles in their catalogue and, as they’ve promised, “exciting new reveals.”
How To Watch Devolver Direct 2024
The Devolver Direct 2024 showcase takes place during a very busy week for Summer Games Fest 2024, and it takes place on the same day as SGF Opening Day Live. To watch the Devolver Direct, fans can tune in to the Devolver Direct on June 7 at 8:00 p.m. EST, right after Summer Games Fest Live. Fans can even head to the Devolver website to RSVP for the birthday bash!
