Disney and Pixar have released the newest trailer for their next highly anticipated movie, Toy Story 5.
After the ending of Toy Story 4, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the die-cast gang are fulfilling their purpose by helping Bonnie play. In this new movie, though, the toys are threatened once again when Bonnie gets a new tablet named Lilypad, which, according to the trailer, seems to be all the rage with other kids around Bonnie. At the start of the trailer, Bonnie is still passionate about the toys, but when she is rejected by her peers (who all have Lilypads), Bonnie’s parents buy her one.
The trailer also teased the much-anticipated reunion of Woody and Buzz as Woody reunites with the toys after he is called back from his role of saving discarded toys in the outside world.
Every Toy Story film has featured a star-studded cast delivering memorable performances, and Toy Story 5 is no exception. The main voice cast is set to return, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Greta Lee as Lilypad, Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants and Tony Hale as Forky.
Also rounding out the voice cast are John Ratzenberger as the wisecracking piggybank Hamm; Wallace Shawn as Rex, the anxiety-riddled Tyrannosaurus rex toy; Blake Clark as the ever-loyal Slinky Dog; Jeff Bergman as the sarcastic Mr. Potato Head; Anna Vocino as the nurturing Mrs. Potato Head and Annie Potts as the adventure-loving Bo Peep.

Alongside the returning cast, an accomplished production team is also behind Toy Story 5. Andrew Stanton, the Academy Award-winning director known for Finding Nemo and WALL-E, will direct the fifth instalment. Composer Randy Newman is also returning to score his fifth Toy Story film, bringing his signature sound back to the franchise.
The latest chapter in the long-running series is scheduled for an exclusive theatrical release on June 19, 2026. It is expected to stream on Disney+ at a later date.
