Fans of Disney Dreamlight Valley will have a plethora of new content to look forward to as the game receives a new paid expansion in the future.
Announced during the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2025 Showcase, the game will be receiving a host of content updates, starting with the Winter update titled “The Winter Ball,” which will involve a quest to help Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother to “remember an important figure from her past.” Upon completing her quest, players will be able to bring the titular princess to their valleys.
Another feature that will be introduced in the Winter Ball update is “DreamTeams.” Players will be able to join with up to seven friends to create their own Disney Dreamlight Valley community. As part of these communities, players can share resources in order to work together to complete quests and crafting tasks.
Players were also given a look at the 2026 Free Content Roadmap, with an update relating to Lady and the Tramp coming in early 2026, followed by Pocahontas in spring of 2026, and then Disney’s Hercules in the summer of 2026. However, the biggest announcement from the showcase was the inclusion of the newest paid DLC: Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch.
Within this new area, players will discover a run-down ranch that fell into disrepair after Cruella De Vil seemingly purchased the deed. Underneath is a giant Wishflower that is being disturbed by some unknown force, causing Wish Magic to run amok within the valley. Players will need to restore the Ranch with the help of their newest companions and gameplay feature—mountable horses.
While players can customize up to four of their own horses to ride along and use to assist in their daily tasks, they’ll also be able to partner up with three iconic Disney horses—Maximus from Tangled, Khan from Mulan, and Pegasus from Hercules. Each horse has their own unique abilities that can assist the player in different ways.
But it’s not only horses that are joining the valley, as an all-new storyline with FOUR new characters to meet and add to the Valley – with the reveal of Cruella De Vil from Disney’s 101 Dalmatians and Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, who join previously announced Snow White from Disney’s Snow White and Tinker Bell from Disney’s Peter Pan.
Wishblossom Ranch will feature three unique biomes, all themed after the characters that are coming alongside it—Wishing Alps, Glamor Gulch and Pixie Acres. Not only that, but with these characters are three new animal companion types, Geese, Sartorial Skunks and Sweet Bees.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch will be available on November 19th, 2025 and is available to wishlist now. The expansion will be available with the base game as a bundle; however, with the release of the game will be retiring the Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale bundle as well as Disney Dreamlight Valley: Enchanted Edition. These bundles will be available until November 19th, 2025
