Dispatch Launches Episodes 1 & 2 - Episode Release Schedule Included

The highly anticipated episodic interactive experience Dispatch is coming in hot, and players won’t have to wait months to keep playing.

As was mentioned in our Dispatch Hands-Off Preview Event, the first two episodes of the superhero workplace comedy are set to land on October 22nd, 2025. Following this, the game will release two episodes a week for three weeks and a total of eight episodes.

A First Look At Dispatch—Calling All Heroes

The schedule will be released as follows:

  • Episode 3&4 – Oct 29th, 2025
  • Episode 5&6 – Nov 5th, 2025
  • Episode 7&8 – Nov 12th, 2025

At the time of full release, CGM will publish a full review of the entire series as a complete experience—as opposed to our stilted coverage of episodic games in the past. Having played Dispatch Episode 1 & 2, however, I will say, so far, the game is incredibly promising, feeling like Invincible if it were written for adults.

Dispatch is the collaboration between AdHoc Studios and Critical Role. AdHoc was founded in 2018 by two writers and two directors, each of whom had previous experience working at Telltale Games. Players take on the role of Robert Robertson (voiced by Aaron Paul), who was once a hero known as Mechaman but begins working as a dispatch agent after his robotic suit is destroyed beyond repair.

The game features the dialogue-driven, choice-based gameplay fans of the genre have come to know and love, but action sequences similar to those of the Telltale Batman games, and an RPG system where players need to manage their dispatchable heroes—assigning them to the crisis that best suits their unique powers and traits.

Dispatch is already being praised by critics, with In-Progress reviews between OpenCritic and Metacritic trending overwhelmingly positive.
