ASUS Republic of Gamers and DOOM: The Dark Ages have combined forces in a new collaboration that sees a limited-edition GeForce RTX 5080 trudge through Hell.
In a newly announced partnership, ASUS Republic of Gamers, alongside Bethesda and id Software, has unveiled a GPU designed to storm the gates of Hell—wrapped in a fresh coat of paint inspired by the next instalment in the DOOM franchise, DOOM: The Dark Ages. The collaboration is part of ASUS ROG’s 30-year anniversary celebrations for its graphics card division, and with DOOM’s legacy as a pillar of PC first-person shooters, the partnership feels like a natural fit.
The collaboration brings a limited-edition ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition to consumers, styled with the distinctive armour pattern of the DOOM Slayer. The mark of the Slayer is emblazoned on the device, accompanied by ASUS ROG branding, all wrapped in a battle-damaged green armour palette reminiscent of the Slayer himself. On the reverse side, fans will see the DOOM Slayer channelling their inner First Avenger, slicing through demons while wielding the new Shield Saw. The image is topped off with a DOOM: The Dark Ages logo in full view.
The bundle will also feature an exclusive T-shirt sporting a black foil Slayer mark, mouse mat, yellow key card, ROG-exclusive DOOM Slayer Legionary in-game skin, and optionally, the Premium Edition of DOOM: The Dark Ages. CGMagazine’s preview of DOOM: The Dark Ages says it is “shaping up to be an impressive evolution of the modern DOOM titles, refining core elements while delivering a fresh, medieval twist.”
